Three Resident Evil games. Just 55.9 GB combined 👀 The reported Switch 2 eShop download sizes are: • Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition — 14.0 GB • Resident Evil 3 — 12.9 GB • Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition — 29.0 GB That’s less than the advertised capacity of a single 64 GB Switch 2 cartridge. And yet, all three Japanese physical releases are confirmed as Game-Key Cards. Western physical formats are still unconfirmed. Of course, download sizes don’t tell the whole story, but when even games this small aren’t getting full-on-cart releases, it’s hard not to question these decisions. @capcom_official , we’d love to see these games fully on cartridge. Would you buy all three if they were released full-on-cart? 🎮

22 games. TWENTY-TWO! 🤯 The original Nintendo Switch is in a league of its own, with PS4 and Xbox 360 far behind at 12. And here’s what’s crazy: PS5 is nearly 6 years old, yet Switch 2 has already matched its reported 10M+ tally in just 16 months! Could Switch 2 ever reach 22? 🔥

Another glimpse into the future of every "better than nothing" key card and #PhysicalFraud disc. All bound to become "exactly the same as nothing". Only in this case it happened the other way round. Game wasn't even uploaded to begin with, it seems.
This is exactly what worries me about Game-Key Cards 😕 When the download isn’t available, your “physical game” becomes nothing more than a piece of plastic that can’t even play the game you paid for. I’m sorry, but I just can’t consider that a real physical release. And now we’re seeing a concerning example with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Holiday Play Edition on Switch 2. A physical owner reports being unable to download or play the game after inserting their Game-Key Card. The console displays error 2016-0070, while the eShop lists a download size of just 82 MB, compared to around 2 GB for the Switch 1 version. The cause is still unclear, and we don’t know how widespread the issue is. No download. No game. That’s the risk of a format that depends entirely on external downloads. Hopefully GameMill and Nintendo can get this resolved quickly.

Another Switch 2 Cartridge Check! 🔥 New details have surfaced about the Japanese physical edition of Another Eden Begins! 🎮 Japanese Edition ✅ On cartridge: v1.0.1 ⬇️ Available update: v1.1.2 (~7.4 GB) That’s quite a sizeable update! It addresses several issues, including New Game+ progression bugs, combat-related problems and a crash. It also adds a feature to relocate your character if they get stuck. If you’re waiting for a Western physical release, there’s good news! @aksysgames has already confirmed plans to bring it physically in 2027! ❤️

40 years of Zelda history in one picture ❤️ The original Zelda on Famicom Disk System, my sealed copy of Ocarina of Time, and the official promotional display for its upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 release. Different generations, different memories… but the same magic that has made this series so special for 40 years. There’s something truly beautiful about seeing all of these together. November 5 can’t come soon enough! 💚🧚

Things just got even more interesting with the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2! 🔥 Following yesterday’s UK retailer reports, a collector has now received a response from Nintendo UK Support, stating that a version of the console with a user-replaceable battery will exist! However, they couldn’t clarify whether the original preorders will receive this version or if we’re looking at two different hardware revisions. And here’s where things get interesting… With the EU’s new battery regulations taking effect in February 2027, could Nintendo be preparing to distribute this revised Zelda edition across the rest of Europe too? And what about North America, Japan and other regions? 🌍 Nintendo hasn’t formally announced this specific revision yet, but these developments certainly raise some interesting questions! Huge thanks to the @MattEason who shared Nintendo’s response with us! ❤️
Things are getting interesting with the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2! 🔥 Following the initial Smyths listings, more UK retailers are reportedly taking preorders for a new batch of the Zelda 40th Anniversary console and Pro Controller featuring user-replaceable batteries! Reports are coming from Smyths, ShopTo, GAME UK and The Game Collection. 🇬🇧 October 29 — Original model 🇬🇧 November 5 — Reported revised version Nintendo had already confirmed that the 40th Anniversary collection would be restocked, but what we didn’t expect was the possibility of revised hardware! And that raises an interesting question… Why would Nintendo revise a limited-edition console so soon? Could they be planning to keep this special edition available beyond February 2027, when the new European battery regulations come into effect? Nothing officially confirmed about this specific revision yet, but it’s certainly an interesting possibility! 🤔

Love seeing your collection coming together, JP! 😍 And here’s a little fun fact: as of today, 39 Nintendo Switch 2 Edition physical releases have already hit the market! We thought it would be fun to bring them all together in one place. That’s quite a collection to complete! 👀
I’m a big fan of subsets in a collection. There’s something about the “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” releases I’m really digging. I’m still missing a few, but it’s coming along nicely.
