.@QAThornton Just because an all-touch gaming platform is possible, does that mean it's a good idea?

.@QAThornton But won't the tablet be used as a support device? Also, it'll have analog control.
That's arguably the thing keeping 3DS and Vita's hopes alive, no?

Q6: And this is what it all boils down to. Is the idea of "hardcore touch screen gaming" a myth? Does it matter? #GDC #GDCchat

Last question of our mobile gaming tweet-chat en route. #gdc #gdcchat
.@susanbrake Seems like more and more of our weekly podcast is talking about mobile titles. Sign of the times.

Word of mouth is huge. Can't overstate that. So easy for games to get lost in the tidal wave of updates on the App Store. #gdc #gdcchat
.@cleorapja What put those titles on your radar?
Q5: The sheer numbers of mobile games make awareness a challenge. How can developers cut through the chatter with a new title? #GDC #gdcchat

@GameLife Definitely for the top tier games, but adding a social gaming component doesn't automatically equate to "social" #contentisking
And with in-game purchasing, will mobile games' shift to a free-to-play model become more widespread/permanent?
.@OFErONe, you're community manager at Open Feint. Are you guys seeing social involvement in OF-enabled games?

And you're not the only one, @OFErONe. (Sorry if we didn't quite match your creative capitalizations)

@GameLife I never spend money on mobile games...the only game that I gave money to was @Spryfox's Triple Town....that's a good one

I'd think that w/more powerful dedicated devices, a console title and its handheld version could be dev-tracked together, no? -PR to CK #gdc
Is Uncharted: Golden Abyss cheaper to develop than the typical handheld game, Peter? I'd wager it's significantly more expensive. - CK
