The weapons used by the ITBP are 50-years old and modernisation is required, said ITBP D-G Shatrujeet Kapur, who is set to retire on October 31. Stressing on the need to invest and develop drone and counter-drone technology, the ITBP chief said that it may not be possible to face China through traditional methods as it has invested a lot in the modernisation of its weapons and infrastructure.
“Drones are something through which a even a small country can challenge a big country We saw how Ukraine has challenged a superpower like Russia. The war was supposed to be over in few days, but 10,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers are being killed, they are suffering. Look at Iran, how, without even a Navy, they, with the help of drones, challenged America,” he said.

The modus operandi of several right wing influencers on X.
Manufacture a controversy around a public figure, then offer a paid PR campaign to defend them.
If they agree to pay, start posting in their favour. If they refuse, intensify the attacks until they feel compelled to negotiate.
Negative ho ya positive, PR ka kaam inhi ko milna chahiye. Either way, they stand to profit.
The trick is to create the very crisis they later offer to “manage.”
Recent example is attack and defence of Maharashtra CM's wife Amruta Fadnavis.
Take Bollywood for example: A movie/song trailer drops, these right wing influencers unleash a barrage of negative publicity, and the people behind the film panic. The same influencers attacking the film then become the people approached to promote it.
From outrage to endorsement. All it takes is a PR deal.
People who are unaware of this think it's a spontaneous outrage. What they don't know is the businessbehind it.

बहुत से व्यापारियों के पास पुलिस अधिकारियों समेत कईयों के फोन आए कि प्रोटस्ट के ख़िलाफ़ बयान दो। बताओ कि बिज़नेस मारा जा रहा है। व्यापारी मित्र रूपी सूत्र के मुताबिक़ जो नहीं कर रहे थे ऐसा उनको बार फ़ोन किया गया। मित्र-सूत्र का कहना है कि व्यापार प्रभावित हुआ है इसमें शक नहीं लेकिन वो इसलिए हुआ है क्योंकि सरकार ने जंतर मंतर बंद कर दिया और प्रदर्शनकारियों को रोकने के लिए बैरिकेडिंग कनाट प्लेस के इलाक़े में कर दी गई। और ये भी कि शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शनकारियों से व्यापारियों को डर नहीं था और न है बल्कि उन ‘हुड़दंगी तत्वों’ से डर था और आगे भी होगा जिनके हुड़दंग पर भी पुलिसवालों मूकदर्शक बने नज़र आए।
मेरे इस पोस्ट के ख़िलाफ़ भी पुलिस/मोदी सरकार का इकोसिस्टम फ़ोन कर व्यापारियों से बाइट दिला दे तो आश्चर्य मत करिएगा!

The SIR exercise in Uttar Pradesh was completed and the final electoral rolls were published in April 2026. Yet duplicate entries remain unresolved. Wasn’t eliminating duplicate entries one of the central objectives of this entire exercise?
Also, do you understand sarcasm? “Buy one, get one free” was precisely that.
In your own tweet, you acknowledge issuing four voter ID cards with different EPIC numbers to one person. How did four applications in the same person’s name pass scrutiny and result in four separate voter IDs?
Submitting four Form6 applications is wrong. Accepting and processing those duplicate requests exposes an even bigger failure in verification. What is the point of SIR if your system cannot detect repeated applications from the same person? If someone applies for fresh enrolment ten times, will @ECISVEEP issue ten different voter IDs?
Further, according to the Form 9 records uploaded on your own UP CEO website, Mr. Sundar submitted Form 6 on January 6 and again on January 14. We have the data for that booth. These are your own official records. This data was uploaded on your own UP CEO website. Also Please upload all Form9s on your website. Many are still missing. Instead of threatening us, Please put more efforts on fixing the failures instead of threatening citizens who expose them.
