Games Wave

Four months ago today, Sony announced their predatory plan to end physical media🚀 Here’s a reminder of the dangers of a digital-only future, which gullible fan boys and paid sock puppet-media conveniently overlooks: ❌No game ownership ❌No preservation ❌No competition > high prices ❌Regional & dynamic pricing > high prices ❌No refund if a game is removed from PSN ❌Reliance on Sony’s bad customer support ❌Region locked code-in-box games ❌Total reliance on networks/internet ❌64% of the world has no PSN > no games ❌If account is lost > all your games are lost ❌If you move to another country, there is no way to change regions > need to repurchase all your games, per Sony’s terms 👉You aren’t responsible for the profitability of studios and publishers. 👉You won’t owe studios whose games you don’t like any money 👉You shouldn’t put the benefits of studio or publisher above your own best interest, because they are not your friends, they are a business and they’ve emphasized clearly how self-serving they all are So save us the white-knighting for corporations and don’t let gaming being ruined more than it already has been. NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
