1.5 hours in and man, this is great! Gameplay is a blast. The story, setting, and atmosphere is fantastic. Art direction is super strong, too. I’m excited to keep playing!
Think I may try jumping into Dante’s Inferno (PS3) soon, now that my free time has opened back up a bit. Not sure if I could beat it by Halloween, but considering the spooky season we’re in, the story & setting feels right! Plus, the gameplay looks fun! Anyone tackled this one?

⚔️ ETERNAL HUNTERS — Action RPG for Super Nintendo
Duncan inherits a demon hunter’s legacy.
A demon has returned.
There’s only one way forward: hunt it down. 💛
Action RPG developed NATIVELY for Super Nintendo — not a port, the original.
Ultima Team pushes the SNES to its absolute limits: visuals, audio, content.
And the soundtrack?
Composed by Raphaël Gesqua (Mr. Nutz).
Solo or 2-player co-op. Playable demo coming soon.
🎮 Kickstarter launches soon!
Get ready to hunt

I wish there were alternate endings, perhaps upon completion of the first, but otherwise I agree — such a unique experience and one I still think of very fondly. Definitely going to replay it at some point.
Dragon Quest IX is such a magical experience. Played a bit more of it tonight and man, there’s something special about this one.
Recruited my [custom] party members and went out and grinded their levels up a bit. Soon I’ll head to the Castle in Stornway to see what’s going on.
Had a weird technical issue with this one. Volume is super low. So I’m working on fixing that and will re-upload asap.
Episode 218 is up on the podcast! It’s an I’ve Recently Finished: Pentiment (NSW) discussion and sharing a small variety of new pickups: Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Tenshi No Uta, Rivieria: The Promised Land, and Faith: The Unholy Trinity.

Got the free remastered version of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt downloading on my Switch 2. Such a cool —and ultra gracious— move by @CDPROJEKTRED for rewarding physical owners of the Switch 1 version. This company gets it.
I don’t mind games with yellow paint markers signaling where to go as long as they’re fun.
I don’t mind games with no indication of where to go, as long as they’re not frustrating.
What to try playing next? (Temporarily shelving Grandia, FE Fortunes Weave, & Tales of Xillia — just can’t quite stay committed to longer RPGs right now). Here’s a few candidates I’m considering:
-Pragmata
-Stories from Sol: The Gun-dog
-OFF
-Control DLC “The Foundation” & “AWE”
Game #12 finished in 2026:
Pentiment (NSW)
Completion: 12-13hrs
A unique, heartfelt RPG w/ nice balance of linear & free gameplay. An honest handling of historical, religious, cultural, etc, aspects. Great art work. Fascinating characters & gripping unfolding narrative/mystery.
I’ve made it to Act 3 (final section) in Pentiment! 3-4 more hours left. This has been quite the unique experience!
Castlevania (NES) 40th Anniversary is available for free on mobile (claim by October 24)

1.5 hours into Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave and I’m having a blast. Didn’t expect some of the stuff it’s doing so far in the early bits. Very cool. Reminded again why this series has been one of my favorite JRPG franchises for years. Needless to say, I’m excited to play more!
Yeah… I don’t think my copy of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is delivering today, despite Amazon saying it is. The bar still hasn’t hit “Out for Delivery” and it’s nearly 11am.
I’ve had this pre-ordered for a good month and a half or so, too. Why????
