Star Gladiator on PlayStation turns 30 today! 🌌 ⚔️ ✨ It's Capcom's first 3D fighting game. I have great memories of playing it on PlayStation 🤩 🧵 1/ #StarGladiator #Capcom #PlayStation #RetroGaming #FightingGame

Originally, it was a fighting game with characters from Star Wars. But for unknown reasons, the project didn't pan out. And it became Star Gladiator! I made a short video to show what the game looks like. 🧵 2/ #StarGladiator #Capcom #StarWars #LucasArts #RetroGaming

And I still have my copy of Star Gladiator! 😀 (PAL version) It comes with a thick manual of almost 120 pages (in several languages). I'd really love for Capcom to develop a new sequel 🔥 🧵 3/ #StarGladiator #Capcom #PlayStation #RetroGaming #FightingGame
My copy of Star Gladiator for PlayStation (1996, Capcom). The price tag has been torn off and there's a sticker that says "From the creators of Resident Evil" in French.

I watched All the President's Men 🇺🇸 🎥 Great movie, even if you have to stay really focused so you don't lose track of the investigation that sparked the Watergate scandal. Long live the investigative press! #AllThePresidentsMen #RobertRedford #DustinHoffman #Cinema #Movies

Who remembers NetStorm: Islands at War? (1997) A strategy game where you conquered islands floating in the sky 🌩️ 💥 I remember playing the demo back then and really enjoying it 😀 #NetStorm #NetStormIslandsAtWar #Activision #RTS #StrategyGame #RetroGaming

I installed the game and then played through the tutorial. Man, the concept is still truly original and fun 🤩 It just needs a good overhaul to bring it up to today's standards. And I'd buy it right away. 🧵 2/ #NetStorm #NetStormIslandsAtWar #RTS #StrategyGame #RetroGaming
NetStorm: Islands at War in windowed mode - After building bridges (which have random shapes), I reinforced my defenses with towers and built weapons to destroy the enemy's. I'm currently destroying the base, and after that I'll capture the priest to sacrifice him on an altar and get some new upgrades!

And it was while reading about NetStorm that I remembered why I didn't buy it: there was a bug in the demo that gave access to the full game 🤦‍♂️ Despite excellent reviews in the press, sales were disastrous. 🧵 3/ #NetStorm #NetStormIslandsAtWar #RTS #StrategyGame #RetroGaming
Review of the game NetStorm in issue 88 of the French magazine Joystick (December 1997). It received a score of 88% and was awarded the Megastar label.

I felt a little twinge of sadness watching the very last episode of The Twilight Zone. A series I started watching four years ago, and one that’s very dear to me because of the themes it explores ❤️ Thank you very much, Mr. Serling 🙏 #TwilightZone #RodSerling #TVSeries

I still need to watch this disc, which is packed with bonus features. Note that there are also interviews (with actors, screenwriters, etc.) on the other discs. A wonderful complete collection! 🧵 2/ #TwilightZone #RodSerling #TVSeries
