Feels good knowing the notes and POV I’ve given multiple screenwriters this week are 100% mine, authored (literally/figuratively) by me, and no robot in the world could have possibly given them.

Found an old receipt inside one of my cassettes today. On September 15th, 1992, the previous owner purchased this @markwahlberg cassette for $10.36 (after tax).

well, as some of you may know, this place has been both my little haven and also my Office away from Home for years now and I am devastated... the staff here always treated me like family, and I'm heartbroken for them nypost.com/2026/10/22/busine…

It was a great honor and pleasure to work with Tom on @LuckyFilm2017 When he walked on set #harrydeanstanton said “Hey Tom, remember that time we changed Science Fiction forever?” RIP

RIP Dallas There’s always actors who never made it big, but were one of those performers who you think of as a great actor. They’re part of your childhood, and your love of film. Someone whose name on a film would make you check it out. That was Tom Skerritt

#NowPlaying a movie that lives up to its branding on Something Weird DVD (along with a b&w noir/creepfest, which I also revisited) both films are entertaining 60's junk in their own way, though this one is IMO a bit more entertainingly lurid and schlocky than the 2nd feature

*am Argentinian noir/creepfest, with lots of old organ music, dubbed (literally and figuratively) into English as FEAST OF FLESH (1967)

My favorite film of last year is very possibly LITTLE FISH, directed by Chad Hartigan and written by @mattsontomlin which got no awards love, but c'est la vie. It is currently streaming on Hulu and I highly recommend it. Lovely music/score by the very talented @keegandewitt

#NowPlaying the rights were avail/there was a potential remake being shopped a number of years back, which is how I first saw this solid little gem of chilly atmosphere and restrained psychological suspense

The world is on fire, but my neighbor has a massive cat named Maximus, a regular sized cat named Mediumus, and a little kitten named Minimus.

for those born well after this, this was huge re: the normal expense of buying a new movie on VHS at the time it really did shatter retail as far as ubiquity goes pretty much every household ended up owning a copy of E.T.: THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL (and BATMAN 1989)
