Absolutely bloody bonkers , just seen a commis chef position advertised 29k a year . Just goes to show the state of this industry to be needing to offer that kind of salary for 1 of the most junior positions in a kitchen

Company staff party today , festivals the theme and I look like the town drug dealer so hoping not to get pulled on the way there by the old bill
There are some ridiculous salaries being thrown around for head chef positions right now but you have to ask yourself is it worth it . Much better imo to work for a great employer than to be that mercenaries and end up hating what you do
