ILHAN OMAR: HOW PASSPORT FRAUD MAY BE ANOTHER AVENUE FOR PROSECUTION
Seasoned federal investigators know passport fraud may be another path to criminal charges.
18 U.S.C. § 1542 (False Statement in Application)
- Prohibits making any false statement in a passport application, using a passport obtained via false statements, or using a passport with an assumed/false name to hide criminal behavior
The 10-year statute of limitations on passport fraud is reset every time the individual renews their passport if the underlying application records, such as a Social Security Number, were obtained through fraud.
For example, the suspect lied about the true date and place of their birth to obtain a social security number.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: AMERICAN TERRORIST
This legal strategy was used to obtain a holding charge for the American terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki after 9/11.
Anwar al-Awlaki was a dual U.S.-Yemeni citizen.
The radical cleric, who became a top al Qaeda leader, was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where his parents lived at the time.
He later grew up in Yemen.
When it was time for college, Awlaki gamed the system.
He applied for tuition assistance through the State Department and USAID to finance his studies at Colorado State University.
Awlaki was not eligible for financial support as a U.S. citizen, so he used his Yemeni passport (and false claims about his birthplace) to secure roughly $20,000 in scholarship money.
It was the beginning of the big grift.
When the Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated Awlaki after 9/11 for his relationship and material support of hijackers in San Diego and Virginia, a seasoned federal investigator ran down the scholarship scam.
Unfortunately, the statute of limitations had run out on the USAID tuition fraud.
A State Department Diplomatic Security Agent then discovered Awlaki made false statements to secure a J-1 visa (a non-immigrant visa for educational purposes.)
Once in the U.S., Awlaki applied for a Social Security Number, falsely claiming he was born in Yemen.
Awlaki used the fraudulently obtained Social Security Number to fraudulently obtain a U.S. passport.
The 10-year statute of limitations reset every time the American terrorist renewed his passport.

Ilhan Omar gives an insane answer when asked if she married her brother. Remember, the Feds have her DNA.
Brilliant
Prop 39 released a new ad today highlighting what politicians don’t want you to know: California is one of a handful of states that don’t require a photo ID to vote.
Prop 39 is a battle of politicians versus people.
Politicians want you to vote no.
The People are voting yes.
This ad is a parody, but the problem is not.
The politicians want to protect their power and money. We want to give it back to you.
Vote Yes on Prop 39.

This didn't age well. Will @CaptMarkKelly correct this and admit sanctions were waived to get Russia to release American Stephen Hubbard?
This traitor wanted to legalize illegal immigration with his border bill and is now against Prop 144 that requires you to show ID to vote in person AND by mail. It makes sure only citizens may register and vote. @CaptMarkKelly is against all of this. Why?
This is a mental illness.
I was proud to join Michigan Jews for Democracy in Detroit last night to talk about why I’m supporting @AbdulElSayed for Senate. With antisemitism rising, Abdul has shown a real commitment to Jewish safety. He’s the right choice for our community and our country.

BREAKING: Another large migrant caravan is leaving Mexico’s southern border right now in an attempt to reach the United States.
Some members of the caravan, which is mostly comprised of Central Americans, told me they are hopeful Democrats win the midterms.
The next time the @NYIslanders are on and my wife starts nagging me…
🚨 #BREAKING: Virginia man charged with duct taping his wife to a chair so he could watch football upstairs “in peace”
I call them lizard people for a reason. Democrats like Joanna Mendoza @Mendoza4AZ will lie about anything to get your vote. Which Mendoza do you believe?
First, these two look like they had a liquid lunch. Second, this is a BIG tell. I don’t think the Dems and Independents are turning out for Katie. Why else would she lie by claiming abortion is on the ballot? I know she always lies but this is desperate.

OMG
Letters from the USCIS and DHS appear to verify that citizenship records for Ilhan Omar's father DO NOT EXIST.
No record of his naturalization exists.
Ilhan Omar claimed citizenship through her father. If no record exists, how can she be a U.S. citizen?
This is the craziest political ad ever.
BOMBSHELL:
Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton’s own mother urges voters not to vote for her daughter.
“My name is Donna Arthur and I’m Amy Acton’s mother. I worked at Children and Family Service Association, building one of the first two sexual abuse programs in America.
I love my daughter, but when I saw her lying about her opponent—and it’s not easy for a mother to say this—but Amy has a serious problem.
She is a liar. She lies about her past. She says she grew up living in a tent. None of that is true. She’s lied her entire life.
My daughter needs help, and she can’t help you if she needs help herself. People can change, but first they have to tell the truth, and my daughter still isn’t doing that.
Don’t vote for people who lie. Don’t let her become your governor. If you think she’ll make your life better, you’re fooling yourself. It will only get worse.”
That’s one hell of an October surprise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Acton’s stepfather abused her from age 9 to 12 and was criminally charged, and the family lived in a tent in winter. Her brother confirms they were removed from their mother’s custody. Acton’s stayed married to the stepfather until he died.

When @katiehobbs isn't getting her biggest donors more money in state contracts and refusing to answer questions from the AG about it, she's hanging out with @gretchenwhitmer, who locked down her state, wouldn't let Home Depot sell seeds but let her hubby escape to Florida.
Took my friend, @gretchenwhitmer, to one of the best Sonoran-style taco shops in the Valley! 🌮
Over great tacos, we talked about rising costs and how Washington’s tariffs are impacting small businesses across the country.
Here in Arizona, I’ve cut taxes, strengthened our small businesses, and fought hard to give them the support they need so that neighborhood favorites like Taco Viva can thrive.

Arizona early vote, Day 13: voters who usually sit out elections are breaking Republican. Among early voters who cast a ballot in two or fewer of the last four general elections, Republicans lead by 2.6 points. Among all early voters, Democrats lead by 1.8.
Liberals never change. The media never changes. Just like the 2020 George Floyd blm riots, the French communist riots are also “mostly peaceful.”

The claim that DHS was "proven false" in Nevada is wrong. Nobody has proven anything.
In California and Nevada, a voter's citizenship is largely taken on their word: a signed statement under penalty of perjury.
DHS flagged 185 Nevada registrants as noncitizens after manual review. Nevada says its records show they're citizens. But the state hasn't run them through a federal citizenship database, and it admits it can't be sure it's even looking at the same people.
