My brother got a girl pregnant at 17 and immediately denied responsibility.
He told my dad it “wasn’t his responsibility” because they weren’t officially together anymore.
My dad, a roofing contractor, didn’t scream or slam doors. He simply set down his coffee, looked him straight in the eye, and said:
“You made the choice. Now you’re going to take responsibility for it.”
The next morning, at exactly 5:00 AM, Dad woke him up and told him to get in the truck.
