Just a reminder for all the polymarket is destiny stuff that Lula was at 15% the day before the election.

Happy to announce I built a Greek/English reader site with all the surviving plays of Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, & Aristophanes.
Multiple translations for each play; click to parse & define for any Greek word; full Greek & English search.

I feel about Tommy Carr the way I feel about my 5 year old nephew—I love the guy, but no, I don't want him driving my car yet.

On what planet are we subject to the “choices” offered to us by our opponent when simply trying to reschedule an already agreed upon debate.

This decision by the @RobSandIA campaign disrespects people of Iowa. The IPTV debate is the signature debate for Iowans choosing their next Governor.
Respect by @ZachLahn for Rob’s family’s loss is appropriate.
Respect for Iowa is also appropriate.
Show Respect.
Schedule the debate.

The NBA should consider having one game each week on a Friday afternoon. Make it a big event in the city that is hosting that week’s game. They would have a window all to themselves each week — especially for teams that don’t get much exposure. Primetime in Europe too.

Keep this in mind regarding the Wedgewood fake polling scam. Way back in June, Wedgewood missed the winner of the Louisiana Republican Senate primary by 18 points.
18. points.
And yet months later, elite corporate media kept promoting their fake polls anyway.

“What do you like better, Christmas or Wedding season?”
This is awesome 😂
This sounds insane until you’ve been on enough date nights where you spend $250 to discuss the kids’ schedules in a different building.
The backstory is pretty great!
A married couple in San Diego wanted to get dressed up and go to a wedding. Problem was, they’d reached the age where nobody they knew was getting married anymore.
So they built a website where you can buy tickets to strangers’ weddings.
And the economics actually make sense.
The couple getting married has already committed to a venue minimum. Someone cancels. Now there’s an empty chair and a dinner they’re paying for either way.
Meanwhile, another couple would happily pay to eat, dance, have some cake and watch a best man make a series of increasingly questionable decisions with a microphone.
The hosts approve the guests. Guests verify their IDs. Everybody agrees to the arrangement.
Which is arguably more vetting than your cousin’s new boyfriend received.
Apparently one bride said the paying strangers brought so much energy to the dance floor that she wished she’d invited more.
Of course they did. Those people specifically bought tickets to be there. Half your actual guests are attending under a treaty negotiated between their mothers.
I love businesses like this. Find something people already paid for but can’t fully use. Find someone else who wants it. Make the introduction.
This guy just wanted to take his wife dancing and accidentally identified a liquidity problem in the wedding market.
Cue Vince Vaughn!

Let’s go!!!!
This is why I think it's more than possible for @ZachLahn to still win this gubernatorial election in Iowa. Undecided voters are consistently breaking for him over @RobSandIA by massive margins each night.
@hinsonashley is also winning leaners over @turek4iowa by a fairly significant margin. But nowhere near this much.
Hinson's technically closer before the lean, but her race also features Libertarian @Laehn4Iowa, who is drawing significant support from 2024 Trump defectors who refuse to say for whom they voted.
GOP internals show the same where there are third-party candidates, to include the president's own pollster. So, I don't really want to hear the nonsense.
He's been steadily chipping away as the money flows and the deal closes. His issue is the same that all Republicans have.
Can he get this disaffected group of voters to vote? Tagging @SteveDeaceShow because I know he talks to local pollsters and he might be interested in this.

Roughly 4,000 more Dems have cast early ballots compared to 2022. Roughly 40,000 fewer have requested absentee ballots. Republicans are up on both fronts. Blue wave? I ain’t seeing it.
Iowa had its first day of early voting yesterday. Submitted ballots were D+27 by party registration.
In 2022, first-day ABEV ballots were D+11.
And in 2024, it was D+7.
