ALT DCP Budget asks. Text reads: "The government has recognised that support for children with SEND is in crisis and that children and their families are being failed. The government cannot deliver on its opportunity mission if it does not ensure opportunities for disabled children and those with special educational needs. In this week’s Budget, we must see a commitment to invest in turning services round. Specifically - New money to make a reality of the government’s stated ambition for a more inclusive mainstream school system; that cannot be delivered without more investment up front, for example in training and to increase access for schools to specialist support such as educational psychologists, speech and language therapists and specialist teachers. The promised investment in school buildings must create accessible buildings which meet the needs of children with sensory issues." Continued on our website
