This is very exciting @RoyalTraditions . We're really looking forward to singing some songs in this lovely pub @RoyalHotel8 ...and maybe a giant Yorkshire pudding and gravy as well! Plus a tunes session beforehand and a song session afterwards - heaven.
Good morning all - it's been a while!
Just to let you know that we have a rare northern gig. We're playing @RoyalTraditions folk club near Sheffield on 25th February. It would be lovely to see you if you can make it. Tickets are quite limited and are here wegottickets.com/event/56034…
This will be a special one next week. Come and share anything from Paul’s beloved Hampshire, anything that reminds you of him or your favourite music of his.
Next week, our theme for #TradSongTues will be #HampshireSongs. This is for much loved and extremely talented Paul Sartin.

I'm going to start us off with this one from @JimmyASidG and @LadyMaisery
'Cruel winter cuts through like a reaper,
The old year lies withered and slain,
Like Barleycorn who rose from the grave,
The New Year will rise up again.'

Good morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all from @Genevre2 .
Here's hoping that you have all had the break you needed and managed to catch up with the people you needed to see.
The New Year is our theme this morning - what do you have for us?

Of course, the most important thing about New Year is that we make sure the apples are plentiful for a good cider crop. Couldn't leave this morning without a Wassail...here from @WinterUnion
