Oh my goodness, this Wall Street Journal piece about Trump's ailing health that includes an interview with him (gift link). There are a number of ridiculous details in it and I'll put a few of them in this thread. (1/6) wsj.com/us-news/as-signs-of-…
This will be my last original tweet here for a while, though I will check back here and RT things I think should be RT’d. you can find me on Bluesky (which my brain always pronounces as “bloo-ski”) under the same sobriquet.

Anyone who thinks Trump's win was a "mandate" or landslide, let alone the biggest in 40 years as Tucker Carlson said, is a fool or liar. It isn't close to Obama's wins, or even Clinton's in the EC. Though a clear win, it wasn't an endorsement of his key policies. A 🧵...

Biden/Kamala’s policies when presented blindly to Trump supporters were favored over Trump’s own policies. I think we’re post policy.

It’s ok to be sad or disappointed or mad. We are all going through it. But when I get on that plane back to Washington D.C. next week, I’m going to be ready to fight back.

I had 14 potential new clients schedule consultations for divorce over the past three days. For context, a phenomenal week would be scheduling at least 5. Further context, November is the slowest month of the year for new divorce cases. 👀

Harris spent most of the last month campaigning in swing states. I hope we can finally drop the ridiculous canard that Clinton lost because she didn't visit WE, MI and PA.
No, that wasn't the reason. Harris and Clinton both lost for the same reasons.

I use a lot of tactics against Maga, but the one that works the best, without fail, is to ignore them when they most expect you. Don’t go protest the inauguration. Stop having Marches and large protests. They want a reason to fight, and they will fight each other when we don’t show. Instead, we quietly organize while they put their guard down, and then, we attack when they least expect it. Works like a charm every time. Stop repeating the patterns we’ve used for years. They don’t work. Burn the instruction manual and start over✊🇺🇸

I’ve talked to a number of Trump voters in the last week, those “online” and off, and every single one had believed wholesale misinformation about what Trump and Harris’ policies actually are. In some cases, would have voted differently if they knew the correct information. Wild.

I don’t know where the dance world would be without Judith Jamison. Alvin Ailey made “Cry” specially for her & all Black Women. Her legacy & what she brought to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as a dancer & director changed culture as we know it.

Kamala Harris threw that hair in a ponytail, put on a hoodie, threw some greens in the tub and said y’all can have this shit..

Every time a democrat loses an election everyone trashes the Democratic Party up and down and weakens the party for the next election and Republicans get a complete pass. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Why are trump supporters getting so mad that we say that we hope everything that they voted for happens to them? Why is that a threat? YOU VOTED FOR IT WHY ARE YOU MAD? I hope everything that you voted for happens to you PERSONALLY. Why you mad boo?

Abolitionists, womens rights organizers, workers rights unions, disability rights orgs, and pro-immigration orgs did the work under far worse circumstances with very little global solidarity. We have better tools, connections, and resources. 7/8
