Decent strike, but it’s not in the corner. Keeper has to do better #swfc
That was the night he went for Beni and Paolo. “And as for you two Italians”
He lost Di Canio then, which subsequently contributed to what happened a few weeks after against Arsenal #swfc
was gaffer when...

Wilson side suffered a shock in the league cup 1st round, 1st leg defeated to The U’s courtesy of a Trevor Benjamin goal back in 1998 despite fielding a strong side.

Smitty can’t has had these hamstring issues for a long time. First round pick and he’s gone

In Shez best years for us he wore 8. He then wore 11 and I think Di Canio 11 is more iconic

Shez barely ever wore 7 for us. Thats the question. Iconic name and number sets

They’re both 8. Can make a strong argument for either based on what your era is. For me, Waddle 8 is the most iconic name/number the club have ever had
Biggest issue any footie fan has with a club is ticket prices, individual ticket and season tickets.
You want an example of where a conflict of interest happens……. Well
The board have a meeting for next seasons ticket prices “we need to generate more money so all tickets NEED to go up by 25%”
Surely as the Trust chair, you fight for your members to have cheap tickets, but as a board member you know they need to go up.
There’s your conflict right there

I think the concerns around independence and accountability are perfectly legitimate and shouldn’t be dismissed.
I’d genuinely be interested to hear some real-world examples of how James sitting on the club’s board could compromise the Trust’s ability to hold the owners to account.
It’s a fair discussion to have and I think understanding those concerns properly is a good place to start.
