🔴El empresario tequilero Adrián Corona, presidente de Grupo Corona, fue localizado sin vida en Atenguillo, Jalisco, tras haber sido secuestrado a finales de diciembre. La Fiscalía de Jalisco confirmó que el cuerpo presentaba huellas de violencia y un impacto de bala. La Vicefiscalía Regional mantiene abiertas las investigaciones para esclarecer el homicidio.

In Mexico, every medical resident must complete a research thesis to become a certified specialist. While the intention is to promote scientific training, the reality is that many residents are already overwhelmed with clinical duties.

Once residency/fellowship applicants can safely acknowledge their lack of interest in conducting research without torching their job prospects, then we will have entered a new utopia with the perfect balance of physicians, scientists, and physician-scientists. It will be beautiful.
