Letter from Nick, GoPro Founder & CEO

Can not wait to cancel my AT&T plan.
I so regret being swindled by their sales people, with their false promises and being locked out of my account for a month.
Almost 3.5hrs on hold to get a fee waived.
Formal complaint to be filled with the FCC in the morning.

Immense planning and technical precision was required for this absolutely preposterous (but real) view: I captured my friend @BlackGryph0n transiting the sun during a skydive.
This might be the first photo of it's kind in existence. See a video of this moment in the reply 👇

Anyone in skydiving have similar issues?
#DJIOsmoAction5Pro is a total disappointment.
Results after four months of "beta testing". My honest feedback.
Spoiler: this was my worst tech purchase ever.
Here’s a breakdown of the major issues I’ve encountered.
Definitely use for skydiving. Shooting the 250Way in a few months and this would be perfect.

*Do not attempt to replicate–smashing a camera may damage it.
GoPro must really be hurting to rerelease the 2019 GoPro MAX. Can’t believe they still haven’t released the MAX2. Perhaps something happened with the GP3. None-the-less, this is going to flop hard!
@gopro
Nice job on the HERO13, MAX2, and HERO (2024) here’s your pink slip. 🤦🏻♂️
Be sure to save those signing keys before you get kicked out of the door.

In the H12 firmware a beta camera with an IMX989 1" sensor named "Porto" was leaked.
This internal document calls this project "Potoroo." In other words, looks like we'll be seeing a GoPro with a 1" sensor very shortly.
My writeup from last year: gethypoxic.com/blogs/technic…
@Quadro_News looks like Gopro 13 has been leaked, chinese supplier leaked the specs. 1 inch sensor IMX989, this can level up the game versus DJI action 5 and Insta360 Acepro
Watch as skydivers safely land alongside a ripping dust devil. Kacey Crippin captures this while only feet away. #azwx

Just bought Kester lead free solder from eBay. What’s the over under that it’s real? It’s DOM means it’s out of warranty, so hoping it’s just old stock and not counterfeit.

DJI - The ART of obfuscation. A tragic story of bytecode hostage-taking with the complicity of the Android runtime.
Quarkslab's engineer Eric Le Guevel investigates it: blog.quarkslab.com/dji-the-a…
ALT A DJI drone controlled by an Android application riddled with puzzles wrapped in an enigma of mysterious code obfuscation. A reverse engineer's dream.
