Danielle Smith keeps using her town hall meetings to rile Albertans into thinking that the federal government is against them. Her insistence on calling her version of keeping a unity with Canada involves a “Sovereign Alberta” or a unity that involves receiving blank cheques with no accountability. Smith is actually wanting to keep a link with other provinces to unite them against the federal government, with the perspective that the federal government is overstepping its power and control over Canadian provinces. Her animosity towards the federal government is clearly outlined in her referendum questions. Smith constantly points out how bad the federal government is to Alberta and yet they become acceptable or tolerable when they approve her pipelines. Now Danielle Smith cries crocodile tears over the disadvantages that Alberta faces under the federal government, yet she claims she wants Albertans to vote to stay in Canada.
