The new office strengthens GIPF’s commitment to bringing services closer to members, enhancing accessibility and delivering a more convenient, member-centred experience.
More than a new office, it represents our continued investment in the communities we serve and our commitment to accessible pension services across Namibia.

Heroes’ Day reminds us that courage did not end when the struggle was over. Many of Namibia’s heroes went on to build families, serve communities, and help shape the country we know today. This Heroes’ Day, we honour not only what they fought for, but the lives they continued to build with dignity.

Disability benefits play an important role in supporting GIPF members who are no longer in active employment due to a disability.
This 5% increase is intended to help beneficiaries navigate rising living costs while providing greater financial support and helping to preserve their dignity.
The adjustment follows the implementation of a 5% salary increase for public service employees and reflects the Fund’s ongoing commitment to protecting the financial well-being of members who are unable to
continue working due to disability.
Members receiving the disability benefit will see the increase applied from April.
