NTSA, a footage circulating yesterday (below) showed RAYMOND OMOSA, racing a Mercedes-Benz C-Class on a dual carriageway, with dangerous overtaking that came close to collisions with other cars. The Mercedes appeared to nearly rear-end another vehicle while attempting to overtake from the left side. Collision-warning alarms could be heard as the visibly unbelted occupants panicked and the unbelted driver braked sharply. Have you identified both drivers and investigated this footage @ntsa_kenya? Other motorists should not have to risk their lives because someone wants racing content for social media.

Just to remind you that your father was a evil man. I hope one of the tattoos represents the atrocities he committed.

Share and tag NTSA. As a private citizen who is or has family members at risk of being killed by one RAYMOND OMOSA aka KENYAN PRINCE due to reckless driving I demand for his arrest and investigate the reckless driving he has constantly displayed with NO remorse on public roads. Apa wakenya mtanisaidia to call on @ntsa_kenya to take action. If you see this tweet kindly tag NTSA until we get an action.
Twitter won't let me reply people on my new phone via the android app. It keeps sending the tweets to drafts unless I use a browser. Had an issue with login too with them saying I use the official app na nilikua nimeitoa play store, only bypassed that by using a passkey.

Declare road safety a national disaster
Road crashes have reached a national emergency level, with about 20,000 crashes claiming over 5,000 lives annually, destroying families, overwhelming our health system and eroding economic productivity.
As an Authority, we propose that road traffic crashes be declared a national disaster to mobilise urgent government action, secure adequate funding and ensure coordinated enforcement.
Such a declaration would enable whole-of-government coordination under clear accountability, and enforce measurable targets across road agencies, the National Police Service, the health sector and county governments.
Our goal is simple: save lives, reduce fatalities and serious injuries, and protect Kenya's human capital.
Road safety is not just a transport issue; it is a national development and security priority.
With everyone's support, we can avert this disaster.

CLARIFICATION ON FOREST PLANTATION HARVESTING IN NGONG HILLS FOREST
The Kenya Forest Service (KFS) has noted video clips and photographs circulating on social media alleging illegal logging in Ngong Hills Forest, with claims that the activities are being carried out at night. The Service wishes to clarify the circumstances surrounding the ongoing forest plantation harvesting operations.
Harvesting of mature forest plantations in the Kibiku Forest Block of Ngong Hills Forest is being undertaken following a competitive bidding process and the subsequent award of a tender for the harvesting of 56 hectares of mature plantations, in accordance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015, the Forest Conservation and Management Act 2026 (FCMA 2026), the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and forest harvesting rules (2016).
Furthermore, forest operations are required to be conducted between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., as stipulated under the FCMA 2026. Upon completion of the harvesting process, the Community Forest Association is normally engaged to replant more trees through the Plantation Enterprise and Livelihood Improvement Scheme (PELIS).
Regarding the photograph circulating on social media showing a trailer loaded with logs, the Service has received information that the vehicle had broken down and was undergoing repairs. KFS is verifying the circumstances surrounding the incident. The photograph alone does not establish that harvesting activities were taking place at night.
The Service urges members of the public to seek clarification from the nearest KFS station on any concerns regarding forest management and harvesting activities.
KFS urges the public to rely on verified information when commenting on the matter and to report all suspicious activities to the nearest police station for investigations or email [email protected]
