We’ve worked with clients across industries, each with its own communication challenges. This time, the challenge was a crisis. When project delays left investors frustrated and questions unanswered, the narrative began slipping beyond our their control. Getting it back would take more than putting out statements. It required understanding the situation, listening to the concerns, separating facts from noise and determining the right way forward. Within 90 days, sentiment had stabilised, with 70% of follow-up coverage giving the company a right of reply and room to present corrective facts. Every crisis calls for a different response. Experience helps us know where to start, but it’s human judgement and expertise that helps us decide what the situation actually needs. Even in an era of AI, context, empathy and the ability to read a situation remain central to effective crisis communication. #CrisisCommunications #StrategicCommunications #PublicRelations #ReputationManagement #GlassHousePR

Over the years the PR and strategic communications industry has evolved and influencer marketing has become an important part of how brands build visibility, credibility, drive sales and create influence. The value of a partnership goes beyond the creator’s follower count. It lies in reaching the right audience, building trust and contributing to a brand's business goals. We believe effective communication starts with understanding the outcome you want to achieve and building a strategy around it. #StrategicPR #InfluencerMarketing #TheExtraMile

As cross-border investment continues to evolve, the conversations shaping access to global markets are becoming increasingly important. Last week, our client @BaronCabotLtd , in partnership with API Global, engaged investors across Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya on opportunities in UK residential real estate, including the role of tokenisation in broadening access to international property markets. For eligible investors, these opportunities raise important questions around diversification, investment structures, underlying assets and risk. They also create a need for clear, credible communication that helps audiences understand what is on offer and make informed decisions. As a pan African strategic communications firm, we are helping bring these conversations to the fore across different markets, connecting global investment developments with local audiences and the context that matters to them. #GlassHousePR #BaronAndCabot #MediaRelations #StrategicCommunications #RealEstateInvestments

Our CEO, @Njoki116 , will be speaking at #PRISMSSummit2026 in South Africa on October 22, on The Growth Engine: How Strategic PR Drives Business Growth. The conversation will explore the role of strategic PR in driving business growth, strengthening stakeholder confidence, building corporate reputation and informing organisational decision-making. At Glass House PR, our work across industries and diverse business objectives has reinforced our understanding that PR goes beyond visibility. It is about building credibility, shaping stakeholder perceptions and aligning communication with business goals. As businesses navigate increasingly complex stakeholder environments, integrating PR into business strategy is essential. #GlassHousePR #PRISMS2026 #StrategicCommunications #PublicRelations – at Johannesburg, South Africa

It all starts in the mind!
Changing how Africa is seen also asks us to examine how we see ourselves. During @EliudKipchoge fireside chat at Africa PR Week, @DatariLadejo asked how we can shift mindsets when distrust and fixed perceptions of Africa are already part of the conversation. What could communicators learn from the mindset that helped him become a champion? Kipchoge’s response centred on belief and persistence. He pointed to the talent within our communities, particularly young people in technology and sport, and urged us to keep telling the truth about Africa with confidence. For our profession, that begins with the assumptions we bring to our own work. Those assumptions influence which stories we pursue, whose achievements we recognise and what we consider possible for the people we represent. We have a part to play in making progress visible. That means documenting achievements with care, explaining why they matter and giving people reasons to believe in what is being built here. The confidence we want others to have in Africa should also be evident in the attention we give its people and their work. Kipchoge’s call was to keep doing that work, even when changing perceptions takes time. What African achievement has changed your own sense of what is possible? #AfricaPRWeek #AfricaPRWeek2026 #AfricanNarrative #BeyondConversations

Working across brands and industries has reinforced our understanding that effective media relations is not just about securing coverage, but about making every placement purposeful. It takes a strategic approach to identifying the right platforms, reaching relevant audiences and building anticipation around a brand’s story. As @KFCinKenya brings Kentucky Town 254 to Kenya, we are securing media coverage around its celebration of Kenyan flavours, fashion and culture, building awareness and anticipation among audiences ahead of launch. At Glass House PR, we strategically position brand stories to strengthen visibility, connect with the right audiences and keep brands relevant in the conversations that matter. #GlassHousePR #MediaRelations #StrategicCommunications #PRInAfrica

Knowing what to say is one thing, but knowing how to say it when the world is watching and the cameras are rolling is another. At our media training workshop for @KFCinKenya theory meets practice through mock media interviews and crisis simulations, giving their representative the opportunity to apply key principles, navigate challenging questions, and refine their responses through expert feedback. We build media readiness through practical experience, preparing spokespeople to communicate with clarity and confidence when it matters most. #GlassHousePR #MediaTraining #StrategicCommunications #MediaRelations

Last week, our Media Relations Expert, Obed Mutua, served as a judge at Strathmore University’s BA@10 Security Council Crisis Simulation, “Sudan: The Cost of Delay,” where student delegations tested their ability to communicate positions, defend interests and negotiate solutions in a high-pressure diplomatic environment. At Glass House PR, we value strategic thinking, clear communication and the ability to navigate complex situations. These are essential skills in diplomacy and equally critical in managing reputations, engaging stakeholders and communicating effectively when the stakes are high. #GlassHousePR #StrategicCommunications #CrisisManagement #StrathmoreUniversity

The launch gets you noticed. But what gets you remembered? For Nissan Magnite and Navara, the real work went beyond the reveal. It needed visibility, earning trust and helping two models find their place in a crowded market. Here is a look back at how we took the story further as their strategic communications partner. @NissanKenya #StrategicCommunications #NissanKenya #NewMarketEntry #GlassHousePR

For three days in August, the main stage belonged to the people doing the work. Communicators, strategists and brand builders from across the continent took the mic at Africa PR Week 2026 and talked about our industry the way practitioners do: honestly, specifically, and with a real stake in what happens next. These are a few of those moments. If you were in the room, tell us which conversation you’re still carrying. If you weren’t, tag someone whose voice belongs on that stage. #AfricaPRWeek2026 #AGPRW2026 #RedefiningPR #RedefiningAfrica #AfricaRising
