There's very little value in having Enzo Fernández at 10. Very little. He's not creative, not a creator between the lines. Ironically, this is a game where he should be crashing the box with late runs, but it's Anderson doing it, while still working with Bouaddi to kill transitions, which they've done brilliantly as a pair. A £125m signing was supposed to bring us a maverick. A difference-maker. This is not good enough at all.

People focusing on the fact that it’s doctored or that the numbers don’t add up, but it’s directionally true.

We ended the slave trade. If not for us, a bunch of those up in arms about the slave trade would be floating around the Atlantic to this day.
EXCL: Andy Burnham has gone further than any previous prime minister towards offering a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade ahead of a Commonwealth leaders’ summit. As he prepares to fly to the Caribbean next week, the PM said he was open to calls for an official apology on behalf of the UK and offered formal talks to those affected, including individual countries and campaign groups. Burnham gave what amounted to a personal apology, saying he wanted to share his “sorrow and regret” for the pain and suffering of millions of people, and to recognise the way the slave trade still shapes the world now. But he rejected demands for the UK to pay financial reparations for its role, maintaining the position of successive governments that British people today could not be held liable for the past, however heinous. Instead, Burnham will launch a new drive to restructure debt for the poorest Commonwealth countries – led by former PM Gordon Brown and expected to eventually include organisations like the IMF – helping them repay debt over a longer period and on better rates. theguardian.com/world/2026/o…

Fuck sake man. I had the choice of attending this or the Spurs game and I chose the latter just to get battered by both De Zerbi and the weather. Now I see this…

Keep that emphasis on the “SOME” because these are the same Chelsea fans I’ve been reading get absolutely everything wrong for the past 10 years
If you ever feel stupid just remember that SOME Chelsea fans said Estêvão shouldn’t start because he can’t defend like full-back 🤣

Oh Rupert, behave. The Tory fixer Dougie Smith is playing you like a fiddle and your deal has been done. You aren’t standing candidates in local elections if Tories are standing and they aren’t standing in seats if Restore are. You are an online party and you will hand the country over to a socialist government until 2034 and destroy what is left of Britain in the process. A vote for Restore is a vote for Labour.
