WATCH: Türkiye’s Bayraktar TB2 drone hit targets with pinpoint accuracy using two of the 16 FPV kamikaze drones it carried in a test.
FPV drones usually have a battlefield range of about 15 km.
By carrying them and acting as an airborne communications relay, the TB2 could extend that reach to thousands of kilometres.

Greece signed an intergovernmental deal with Portugal in Athens for three Embraer KC-390 jets, with an option for three more.
Defence Minister Nikos Dendias hailed "two firsts in our history": a jet transport and a tanker to refuel fighters in flight, Rafales and Mirages now, F-16s a year on.
His verdict: "If Hellas had tankers, the 1974 invasion of Cyprus could not have happened." He told Lisbon of Turkey's "peculiar, to put it in the most elegant way" view of the law of the sea, tied to the Turkish-Libyan memorandum, and discussed NATO's Article 5 and EU Article 42.7.
Drone carriers and "drone killers" are on the table. Dendias announced a Space Command within days. Hellenic fighters will now stay airborne as long as their pilots endure.
