Thought that was Mina’s and Tom Davies best games for Everton, if not for a long time. We showed them too much respect late second half but Mina in particular, superb determination in blocks/tackles.

Under the radar tonight, but thought Nkounkou was excellent. Looks like he sat slightly further back for the majority, but defended very well. Absolute bargain

One major improvement of many so far from last season, heads don’t drop after we concede . Shows a good spirit in the team and confidence. 👍
First 20 mins I thought “oh ffs here we go again” we turned it around tho with some sublime goals & quick movement and passing. James’ vision is something else, different class.

Friggin made up with that. Respect teams, don’t fear them, never. Brilliant debuts & DCL header superb.
It says a lot that the three new lads made significant impact after only a week at the club. This is the Everton I want to see.

There is no reason for Everton to fear anyone
There never has been
We just need to believe

Throwback to Gazza welcoming @teamginola at his first #EFC training session by wearing a long wig 🤣🤣🤣

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of a great blue & friend Alan Kirwin. A hugely passionate epicurean & bon-vivant. He leaves behind his ex-wife Justine & his two children Seb & Nunu. He passed away on August 25th
Rest in Peace Alan
