Because they didnt give Terry all of batmans friends. Villains and iconography. He made his own. For example. Lame stewart cant have his own friends. He has steal hals or Kyle's and they must age up hal to justify that bum being a founder of the JL

Cap thing got me wondering. Has there ever been a superhero passing the mantle that was universally well received? Peter -> Ben & Miles as Spider-Man has been bumpy. Steve -> Sam as Cap too. I think Terry as Batman is the only one everyone liked. Idk why though.

Crimson Desert is giving you 5 new games worth of mechanics and content all for $25. They're showing you that the things you want can be done in gaming yet no one is talking about it

Netflix Daredevil was the last classic superhero story we ever saw in mainstream media. -Secret Identity drama -Tridimensional side characters with their own struggles outside the hero. -Nemesis -Recurring villains -Love triangles

How many times can Marvel recycle the exact same 'the world is ending' plot before people stop showing up?

Completely agree. Do I like the dcau? Less than most cuz of hal Jordan erasure. And hawkman mischaracterization. Amongst many flanderizing. But that show made JL stories that didnt centre's around the world ending. They can be interpersonal too. Mcu reboot should do tht.

James Gunn reportedly confirmed that DC villains will receive the same level of importance as heroes. He also confirmed that more villian standalone projects are planned for DCU in the future.

Funny cuz falcon in his original comic characterization would rather die than be given a hand me down as captain America

I wish Marvel had faith in original black characters because imagine how awesome it'd be if Falcon was leader of the avengers due to them building him up instead of giving him a hand me down from a white man

Sam hater here. im not racist. Black btw. Yes ik black ppl can be internally racist. I'm not tho. Dislike sam cuz yall genuinely think hes any where near steve rogers. Steve didnt carry that mantle since the 40s with hundreds of iconic stories just so we can adapt "sam wilson"
