“Vice-President Vance said today that whether this ad by Vivek Ramaswamy was appropriate was not really his concern. Seriously? The question for all Republicans is whether this type of attitude is what we want leading our party going forward. For the last decade, our party has been infected by a corrupted moral center. Vance’s acceptance of this campaign ad only breathes life into the disease that we should be seeking to cure.”
What an embarrassment. Putin is a Communist dictator who has been responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths around the world and the jailing and killing of opposition leaders at home. He is either lying and coddling a dictator on behalf of our country or just plain ignorant
Why are Trump’s closest advisors cashing out on foreign elections?
Because this administration has always been one big grift and will only get worse.
This is political malpractice. My party's midterm closing arguments are:
-It's ok to buy oil from a thug dictator in Russia so he can kill more Ukrainians.
-It's ok to livestream the execution of a murderer.
-The economy is doing great and Americans just don’t get it.
I'm not a Republican in name only. I'm a Republican who's in conflict with certain aspects of my party right now.
This might be Donald Trump's party right now, but it's diminishing right before our eyes. He lost a dozen primaries this spring, and the Trump endorsement ain't what it used to be.
I was a US Attorney, and I can tell you that President Trump has profoundly damaged the DOJ as an institution.
He is a petulant child abusing the power of the presidency and exacting his revenge with a compliant Attorney General.
Donald Trump said it would be the retribution presidency, and he's following through.
Donald Trump said no more forever wars. Where are we?
He said he'd lower prices on day one. Where are we?
He said he'd end the Ukraine war in 24 hours. Where are we?
There is a reason he dropped those campaign promises. He never meant them in the first place.
Young people today have never had a hopeful president in their lifetime. All they've had is Trump angry at Biden, Biden angry at Trump, Trump angry at Kamala, and Kamala angry at Trump.
When I was their age, I had Ronald Reagan. Every time you listened to him, he made you feel better about America and more hopeful about the future.
What concerns me, and should concern all Republicans, is that Nebraska and Kansas are contested races.
That's what Trump's bad poll numbers, high prices, and the Iran war are doing to Republican candidates.
We are a month out from Election Day, and what is Trump focusing his efforts on?
Fighting with a republican senator on Daylight Saving Time and sharing Tom Cotton’s cell phone number with the world.
Happy to be appearing tonight on The Sesno Series at George Washington University tonight at 6pm. It will be televised on C-Span. Looking forward to a great conversation with the students. Hope you will join us on C-Span.
President Trump is a liability. They don’t want him in Michigan. In fact, Mike Rogers would put up a wall around Michigan if he could to keep Donald Trump out.
Our party needs to win independents to be successful this November.
But when the President is 42 points underwater with independents, we have a real problem.
When the developers of AI are losing control and sounding the alarms, that's a problem. The White House has been completely disengaged from this, and quite frankly, so is Congress.
I hope they all wake up, because I don't want to see them singing on the front steps of the Capitol after there's been a tragedy.
AI is the issue we're all talking about, whether it's parents at a soccer game or tech workers in Silicon Valley. President Trump lacks the intellectual curiosity to take on this issue, and it shows.
This is hard work. And if the president's not going to do it, some of the leaders of Congress have to.
