On my first-ever hunt, javelina in Southern Arizona, I was so enchanted by how the desert itself seemed to decide who/what gets to stay and who/what doesn’t. And the man who would’ve happily sold off that exact patch of land to private interest just lost the gubernatorial race :)

There’s something ironic about Dems losing their minds over Haley Stevens flipping and them calling her a traitor, meanwhile they embraced a candidate with a Nazi tattoo and another who has more antisemitic haze around him than a hotbox filled with teenagers. Jews played a pivotal role in the build up of the Democratic apparatus and helped fill the machine’s coffers for decades. If anyone needs to reflect on betrayal, it’s the Party establishment.
