You know what else is terrible optics for a QB? THROWING STRAIGHT INTO DOUBLE COVERAGE TWO OR THREE TIMES A GODDAMN GAME JFCCC; I wanna win I don’t give a shit about optics of asinine laws when Deshaun Watson is still on an NFL roster.
The issue with Anthony Richardson is that I think his coach lost all faith in him. Wrong right or indifferent. The last incident is the latest issue. Do I care about weed and an expired registration? Hell no, but those are terrible optics from a franchise QB, and just another question mark when it comes to maturity and trust. I don’t think he’s a bad person, just immature.
Do I hope he’s eventually successful in the league? Yes, I absolutely do.
He has a lot of growing up to do though.
