Anthropic lost $1,425 on me last month. And they are happy about it.
I pay $100 a month for Claude Max. In 30 days I used 1.13 billion tokens. At API prices: $1,525.
My $100 ran out on day 2. They kept serving me for 28 more days.
Why?
My solution: a second brain on my computer. Plain markdown files. Agnostic to any AI model.
If Anthropic raises prices tomorrow, I switch to OpenAI, Google or a local model. The brain stays. Only the model changes.

Then test it.
