I’m super conscious that media people, the industry I come from, think it’s extreme to post and focus this much on climate change. But science says this could potentially be catastrophic for the whole world. There has never ever been a threat on this scale. Even nuclear war - climate collapse in a worst case scenario, scientists say, would take significantly longer to recover from, potentially thousands of years. How can it be that so few media folk understand, care, engage or speak about this?

This would not be happening if we’d come off of fossil fuels over recent decades as scientists and activists have been telling us over and over and over again. Even now we won’t learn the lesson.
