Taking a significant step towards its ambitious carbon reduction goals, @MichelinCAN, in collaboration with @VyterraRenew, @VerschurenCtr, @GreenspringBio_, and @InvestNS_, successfully conducted a two-week trial using Low Carbon Fuel Oil at its Waterville, NS plant.
The results are promising:
🔹Achieved seamless production with Boiler #1 using LCFO
🔹Demonstrated over 80% reduction in lifecycle carbon emissions
🔹Identified potential for local biofuel production using forestry residuals
