Incredibly tough to post this but, I want to use this post as an opportunity to celebrate the past two and a half years..
Today, the @riverhoundssc and I have decided to mutually part ways so that I can pursue other opportunities. I came to the Riverhounds organization in November of ‘21 with my heart incredibly full, looking at all of the growth we’d hope to see over the coming years.. And, I’m leaving here with my heart still incredibly full. We’ve accomplished so many amazing things together, many memories and relationships were created, and we all collectively helped grow the game of soccer in Western PA while those before us helped grow the game since the beginning.
I want to thank Hounds leadership (@JeffGarner23 and @Tuffy_Shall) for steering the ship and @VicGregovits for initially hiring me, along with an entire staff that I’ve been so privileged to work with over the years. The people make the place and the people truly are there in Station Square. I also want to give a separate s/o to @BigZ178.. I’m grateful to call you a brother of mine for life.
Most important of all.. Thank you to each and every Hounds fan for following my posts along the way.. You’re my summer family now and trust me, I’ll be cheering along with you at Highmark Stadium. Cheers to the past, and cheers to looking for and pursing new adventures.

During August of ‘23, we all had the opportunity to be on a reality dating show.. We were matched by the network, we knew nothing about who we would be meeting for the first time on camera (including names), and we all were open minded to a new experience.
One year later, we have a community. This isn’t the entire group but, I consider these people to be my family nowadays. Pittsburgh is special to me because the people always end up making the place.. And, life is good in the 412 with those great people in my life. #grateful

I live my life by two words.. “Kindness” and “Integrity”. If I can positively impact others because I tried my best to do things the right, honest, way while spreading kindness during every interaction, that’s success in my mind.
All it takes is one match and a willingness to strike that match to light a fire in another’s soul. And, I wouldn’t trade that mindset for the world. Forever smiling, forever working my ass off to strike that match.

It’s things like this that consistently make my day and remind me of all of the good out there.. Meet “Miss Nancy”. Nancy hasn’t just supported and believed in me since day one of crossing paths, but is one of the kindest souls I’ve ever had the opportunity to meet. Anyone in Pittsburgh who knows her as well will say the exact same thing.
Today, we got together to catch up and, being the awesome person she is, gifted me with this Saint Christopher pendant.. a symbol of protection and guidance for those who embark on journeys, both physical and spiritual. I’ve always said that if you have a handful of people who genuinely care about you and your wellbeing, you’re lucky. And, I feel lucky to say that I have more than that handful of people in my life. Thank you to every “Miss Nancy” for impacting my life in a positive way.
