THE LABOR DEPARTMENT JUST DROPPED NEW WAGE DATA AND IT'S BRUTAL.
Corporate profits up 47% since 2020.
Worker wages up 12% in the same period.
Meanwhile groceries up 35%, rent up 40%, utilities up 28%.
Your paycheck grew 12%. Your bills grew 35%.
The math is simple: you're getting poorer every year even when you get a raise.
You can't budget your way out of this. The system is designed so your income can never catch up to your expenses.
That's not an accident. That's policy.

Democrats are taking Congress, but we've been here before so we know their 1st task tomorrow morning will be to draw straws on who the 'rotating villains' will be and their 2nd task will be to find some ancient procedural rule that stops them from doing anything good

For 18 years, corporate media effectively banned the few of us who dared to utter this lesson about Obama turning hope and change into more of the same.
I am glad @corbintrent said it - and that it is finally allowed to be uttered in corporate media.

Alright, #Mississippi.
I've seen your "I VOTED" stickers. Y'all been posting all day about this election. I'm looking to interview at least TWO people for a story. I want to know about your experience voting and what motivated you to vote today.
Let's jump on a quick call. HMU

This is fundamentally corrosive. No matter your politics, you cannot possibly think it is good to have 20 people with this degree of influence over public matters.
Just 20 donors have put in $2 billion into the midterms, per a comprehensive New York Times analysis.

We’ve heard plenty from others about Mississippi. But what are Mississippians saying about the upcoming U.S. Senate race?
I spoke to voters across the state. One thing I heard consistently: they’re ready for a change.

After this election, even before they’re sworn-in, newly minted politicians will go behind closed doors in the swamp to pick the majority leader, minority leader, whips, etc., and to nominate a Speaker.
They’ll vote for candidates who promise campaign cash, good times, good committee assignments, and subcommittee gavels. When it’s all said and done, your Representatives will also pledge their congressional voting cards to the leaders of RED team and BLUE team, who are secretly playing on the same team.
That’s how your election will get stolen. I compare these Representatives to Jack who traded the family cow for magic beans… but in this version of the story, the beans never sprout and lobbyists eat the beef.

This is historic!
Dockworkers across 5 continents and 113 ports are striking today to demand an end to their workplaces being used to transport bombs.
This is what our rulers fear most: workers coming together to liberate humanity from capitalism and imperialism.

Michael Dell: A 70% tax rate? "Name a country where that worked. Ever."
The United States, from 1936 to 1980.
Dumbass.🤦🏻♀️
Tax rates rose to 79% in 1936, rose up to 94% during WWII, fell to 82% in 1949, hovered at 91% from '51 to 63, and then stayed at 70% or above until 1980.
These rates drove us out of the depression and into powerhouse economies.
It was not until Reagan crashed the rates into the 30% range that we started accumulating massive debt and income inequality.
Facts matter.
And the facts show:
Republicans are not good for the economy.
Vote blue on Tuesday, November 3rd!🌊
