Canada was built by people who saw more than what was in front of them. People who believed this country could be bigger, stronger, more connected - and then built it.
Now it’s our turn to build; and to do it faster, for the Canadians who need homes today. What we do next will define our generation.
Congratulations, @LDoerkson on your election victory. This is an incredibly significant time for BC. I look forward to working with you to deliver more affordable homes to our communities, building resilient infrastructure, and transit to keep BC moving. Together, we can create more opportunities for people across British Columbia.
Thank you, Premier @Dave_Eby, for your friendship and service to BC - together we accomplished a lot. Wishing you and your family all the best in this next chapter.

We're just hours away from electing the MLAs who will help lead our province through a moment of real consequence for B.C. and for all of Canada.
This summer's Canada–B.C. Cooperative Prosperity Agreement is one key recent example of the kind of work this moment demands, and we'll need much more of it. It invests in major projects throughout the province and in new transportation infrastructure to move people and goods faster across the Lower Mainland, and it expands our port capacity so we can ship more of what we make to new global markets. It builds clean power, like the North Coast Transmission Line, all while protecting our coast and committing to genuine partnership with First Nations.
I believe that's a fundamental standard to hold every candidate to, in tomorrow's big choice.
Let's elect MLAs who are ready to work with every order of government to deliver the infrastructure B.C. needs, open new markets for our exporters, and, crucially, build sustainably, build in real partnership with First Nations, and build in solidarity with our workers. Voting with our values and commitments like these is how we build our communities strong as we build Canada Strong.
Voting is fast and easy, and polls are open Saturday from 8am–8pm. So bring a friend, and go out and VOTE! 🇨🇦🗳️
50 years ago, Vancouver welcomed the world for the UN’s first conference on human settlements.
It’s great to be back home as leaders from around the world returned to Vancouver to share ideas and keep working toward more affordable housing and stronger, more sustainable communities.
One of the most important elections of our time is hours away, BC.
On Saturday, your vote will shape the future of our province. Vote in who you know will partner with local and federal leaders to build BC and Canada strong. That means delivering on affordable homes, resilient community infrastructure, and the transit we need to keep moving - building sustainably and in partnership with First Nations.
Vote with your values, and for leaders with the experience to deliver in these tough times and for the generations to come. See you at the polls!

🤝 We're pleased to welcome the Honourable Gregor Robertson, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, to the stage for today's federal government keynote at CUTA's 2026 Policy Forum.
As Canada looks to strengthen its communities and infrastructure, the federal role in supporting public transit remains an important part of the conversation.

As the former mayor of Vancouver, I’ve spent years working on issues at the local level, and I’ve seen firsthand what good public transit means for communities. It means a faster trip to work, easier access to housing, and better-connected towns and cities.
Great to join the Canadian Urban Transit Association in Ottawa today for its annual forum to talk about how we can deliver better public transit for communities across Canada.

It’s our country. It’s our future. Let’s keep building Canada strong, together.
Great to be in Yorkton with Mayor Aaron Kienle to talk about what strong local leadership and partnership can deliver.
Mayor Kienle has worked hard to advocate for Yorkton and bring the community’s priorities forward, and now our federal government is investing up to $20 million in critical water infrastructure to help unlock more housing and future growth in Yorkton.
This is what strong collaboration between all levels of government looks like.
