Here is what is problematic with Fulton Sheen:
- Warned about communism abroad instead of Jewish power domestically.
- Opposed secularism by invoking 'human rights' talk instead of proclaiming the Kingship of Christ.
- On TV, preached a generic gospel about virtue instead of the need to embrace Catholicism and receive the sacraments.
- Was an Americanist instead of an integralist in the mold of Msgr. Fenton, Fr. Connell, etc.
