The final totals are in and this years sports day winners are............MILLHOUSES. A fantastic day well done to all 🏆🎉
@GrenoPrimary Y4 really had to use their resilience this afternoon to make mechanical muscle hands to show how muscles pull to help us move. #primaryscience
@GrenoPrimary Y4s made animal skeletons out of natural materials today to find out more about how they are similar to human skeletons. They found lots of similar bones. #primaryscience
@GrenoPrimary Science Club's last session, by popular demand, was making volcanos. We experimented with different ratios to get the best effect!
@GrenoPrimary years 3 and 4 went to Grenoside Green today to learn about the bees and other insects that live there and see how the Green has changed since our visit in October.
Great morning @SWFCCP with the Y5 boys football at the schools community Cup. They loved playing on the Hillsborough pitch.

@GrenoPrimary science club have been investigating Reverse Arrows using different liquids. We found out more about refraction and how light bends #5parkbox #STEMunity
Our y5s and 6s enjoyed learning how to mummify the ancient Egyptian way! You can't say pharaoh than that, can you? 😁
@GrenoPrimary Science Club have been investigating 'Walking Water'. Water moves via capillary action which is the ability of a liquid to flow upward, against gravity, in narrow spaces. This is how water can travel from a plant's roots to the leaves. #SPARKbox #STEMunity
Last half term, a keen group of Y2s signed up for a special STEM Weather Club: four weeks of meteorological experiments☁️🌧️🌩️🌪️
Mr Vincent has been recording this on a blog, with further school-wide pupil voice and weather station data to follow 😎📊📈
