Jalen Brunson reveals that at 13 one line from Bob Hurley Sr. showed him his father’s pushing was never personal, and explains why he turns any coach yelling to find his breaking point into a positive message “Yeah, there was one, it was not necessarily on the court, actually. There was a moment when I was about 13 years old. I was at a tournament or something where I met Bobby Hurley Sr, and I mean, he’s a legend, obviously, and I was with my dad." "And I don’t remember if it’s coincidence or it happened, but I just remember it happened. And my dad was never my coach on a team, but he was always, like, my trainer and my mentor, father, obviously, but he always was pushing me on the court." "And Coach Hurley said, just know when your dad’s being a dad and when he’s being a coach. And I think that made me realize that whatever was happening on the court was never personal. Just wanted the best for me." "And so in high school and college, I had these coaches trying to, like, just always yelling. Yeah, just trying to, like, push me, trying to see, like, where my breaking point was. And I realized I had a dad who pushed me to the limit. And so no matter what is said or going on, I will always find a way to kind of take the message, right? And then turn it into something positive, regardless of how it’s being said or whatever, in the moment or whatever. That was a big moment for me.”

An Elite Basketball Player Ty Jerome can’t jump over a phone book and might be the slowest guard in the NBA baseline to baseline but he has all • Plays with pace • Has no weak hand • Can make any shot • Has an Extremely High IQ 45 pts

On the very expensive Porsche Mission S you have to use your phone for navigation and entertainment, like on the cheap $20k Slate truck, or an old car.

21 seasons with the Huskies. 4 national titles. Thank you for everything, Coach Moore! 🙌

Tom Moore is retiring after 21 seasons, four national titles at UConn. Expect his replacement at GM to be a younger guy with NBA experience. (Not expected to be Andrew Hurley, though he'll likely be in a similar role).
