Address by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to U.S. President Donald Trump
Dear Mr. President,
The war in the Middle East is causing enormous suffering to the people of every country in the region. Lives are being lost, cities are being destroyed, and innocent civilians are suffering.
But the consequences of this war are being felt throughout the world, including in Ukraine.
Because of the war with Iran, oil and diesel fuel prices have risen sharply. This means higher costs for transportation, food, and industrial production. In effect, every Ukrainian family is being forced to pay for a war in which we have absolutely no involvement.
That is why today I am addressing President of the United States Donald Trump with a direct appeal:
Mr. Trump, end this war immediately!
You cannot win it. Moreover, in my opinion, you have already lost it.
Once, in the White House, you said some very wise words to me. I remember them well. And today, I would like to remind you of those words:
Mr. Trump, you have no cards!
Continuing the fighting will only increase the number of casualties and the suffering of innocent civilians.
Ukraine has always stood for peace. And we cannot stand idly by while our American partners continue a war with no prospect of victory.
That is why I must warn you: if the United States does not cease hostilities against Iran, Ukraine will be forced to reconsider the extent of its military-technical and intelligence cooperation with the United States.
In particular, we will stop sharing classified information with the American side concerning Russia's latest ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, attack drones, guidance systems, and methods of countering them.
We will also be forced to suspend the transfer of our latest developments in drone technology and the unique combat experience gained by Ukrainian forces.
We cannot allow Ukrainian technology and intelligence to be used to prolong a war that must end immediately.
Mr. Trump!
I have tremendous respect for the American people. They are a great nation, deserving of peace, stability, and prosperity.
Unfortunately, you have failed to deliver that peace.
The American people should not have to suffer because of one politician's ambitions.
And neither should the people of Iran.
"I spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. He assured me that he genuinely wants peace but has been unable to reach an agreement with you, Mr. Trump, because of your categorical refusal to close all American military bases in the Middle East. And I believe that, for the sake of peace, you must be willing to make this compromise."
I am confident that the new United States Congress will be able to achieve peace through negotiations and the necessary compromises.
Perhaps even within 24 hours.
We stand for peace, Mr. Trump!
And I sincerely hope that you will finally listen to the voice of reason.
Glory to Ukraine!

There are no reports that Ukrainian President Zelensky issued this address to Donald Trump or spoke with Irans president as claimed. Zelensky has criticized Trump over Russia policy and said Ukraine will resume strikes on Russian oil refineries. nytimes.com/2026/10/15/wor… telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202… bostonglobe.com/2026/10/15/wor…

THEY ARE NOW SELLING 3D-PRINTED SALMON IN AMERICAN GROCERY STORES, AND I THINK EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE EATING.
On September 3, 2026, an Israeli biotechnology and food-technology company called Steakholder Foods officially announced that its Perfecta line of 3D-printed, plant-based meat and seafood alternatives had entered retail distribution in the northeastern United States.
And before anyone dismisses this as some fabricated internet conspiracy, the company has publicly documented its commercial expansion, disclosed its manufacturing technology and product formulations, and reported its financial activities through filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
This is happening, and I believe it deserves substantially more public discussion than it has received.
But what concerns me most is not necessarily the fact that somebody has developed a machine capable of manufacturing something resembling a piece of salmon from an assortment of processed plant-derived ingredients.
What concerns me is how easily technological innovation can be presented as synonymous with nutritional advancement before consumers have been provided with enough independently verified information to make that determination for themselves.
SO WHO IS ACTUALLY BEHIND IT?
The company responsible is Steakholder Foods Ltd., publicly traded on Nasdaq under the ticker STKH.
Its CEO is Arik Kaufman, and its consumer-facing brand is Perfecta.
The company's initial American distribution is being supported by KeHE Distributors, a major distributor of natural and specialty food products.
On July 31, 2026, Steakholder Foods announced a private financing arrangement expected to generate approximately $3.5 million upfront, with warrants carrying the potential for approximately $7 million in additional proceeds if exercised.
H.C. Wainwright & Co. served as the placement agent.
Now consider what this represents from a broader commercial perspective. We have a publicly traded technology company seeking to expand its market presence through products engineered to resemble foods that human beings have consumed for thousands of years, while relying upon proprietary manufacturing technology to reproduce their physical characteristics.
That raises an entirely reasonable question about the relationship between what looks like food, what tastes like food, and what ultimately provides the nutritional characteristics we associate with that food.
WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THIS 3D-PRINTED SALMON?
According to Steakholder Foods' own published salmon-patty premix formulation, the ingredients include:
Water, rice flour, soy protein, vegetable oils, potato starch, methylcellulose, sodium alginate, flavorings, salt, maltodextrin, disodium 5′-ribonucleotides (E635), hydrolyzed vegetable protein, beetroot powder, vitamin B12, iron, and zinc.
These are predominantly conventional food ingredients, but their combination produces a highly engineered plant-based imitation of seafood rather than an equivalent piece of actual salmon.
Methylcellulose serves as a thickening and binding agent. Sodium alginate assists with texture and structure. Maltodextrin is a processed carbohydrate, while E635 is used to enhance savory flavor.
Their concentrations, manufacturing conditions, nutritional characteristics, and patterns of consumption are essential considerations when assessing safety.
Nevertheless, consumers deserve to understand what these substances are doing in their food and how the finished product compares nutritionally with the animal-based food it has been engineered to imitate.
AND WHAT ABOUT THE HEALTH CONSEQUENCES?
First, there are immediate concerns for people with relevant food allergies, particularly soy and gluten allergies, which the company's published premix information identifies.
The manufacturer's listed nutritional values also warrant attention. Its salmon-patty premix contains approximately 2.5 g of saturated fat per 100 g, meaning it should not automatically be assumed to offer the same nutritional profile as conventional salmon.
Actual salmon provides a distinct combination of protein, essential fatty acids, and micronutrients. A salmon shaped alternative does not necessarily reproduce those nutritional advantages simply because its appearance, texture, and flavor have been engineered to resemble the original.
But the broader question concerns sustained consumption of highly processed foods.
A substantial body of nutritional research has investigated associations between diets high in ultra-processed foods and adverse health outcomes, including cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain other chronic conditions.
For example, a major 2024 analysis published in The Lancet Regional Health: Americas, combining results from 22 prospective studies, reported that participants in the highest category of total ultra-processed food consumption had approximately 17% higher cardiovascular disease risk than those in the lowest category.
That finding deserves attention, but it is equally important to understand what else this demonstrates.
It establishes that every ultra-processed food produces the same effects, that 3D-printed products are uniquely dangerous, and that this particular salmon alternative causes cardiovascular disease.
This is precisely why we need independently conducted, product-specific research rather than marketing assurances on one side and unsupported health allegations on the other.
THE QUESTIONS I BELIEVE EVERY CONSUMER SHOULD BE ASKING ARE THESE:
Where are the complete independent nutritional comparisons between these products and the animal-based foods they are intended to replace?
What independent testing has been conducted on the finished retail formulations, including allergens, microbial safety, and manufacturing consistency?
Have long-term dietary studies been conducted on these specific products, rather than merely on individual ingredients or unrelated processed foods?
How prominently does the retail packaging explain that these products are constructed from plant-based premixes using advanced food-processing technology?
And how much information about proprietary flavoring systems, manufacturing practices, and financial relationships is readily accessible to ordinary consumers?
These are legitimate questions that deserve substantive answers.
To be absolutely clear, I have not yet found credible evidence demonstrating that Steakholder Foods' products contain covert biological agents or that their 3D-printing process independently causes neurological, reproductive, endocrine, or other systemic damage 👀
And I am not interested in manufacturing accusations that the available evidence cannot support 💭
What I am interested in is understanding why increasingly sophisticated methods of manufacturing food are progressing so rapidly while the public conversation about nutritional equivalence, long-term dietary consequences, transparency, and informed consumer choice often remains comparatively superficial.
Because technological sophistication and biological benefit are not interchangeable concepts.
The fact that we possess the ability to manufacture something that convincingly resembles salmon does not, by itself, establish that we have created something nutritionally equivalent to salmon, much less something superior.
And the fact that an individual ingredient is permitted for use in food does not relieve manufacturers, regulators, or researchers of the responsibility to examine how complete dietary formulations perform under real-world conditions 👀
I believe consumers should have access to the information necessary to make informed choices without being expected to accept either corporate promotional narratives or sensationalized internet speculation at face value.
If these innovations genuinely improve accessibility, sustainability, and nutrition, then rigorous independent investigation should help establish those benefits 💭
And if shortcomings exist, those deserve equal transparency 👀
My question to all of you is this: At what point does our increasing ability to manufacture convincing substitutes for naturally occurring foods require us to reconsider what we actually mean when we describe something as nutritious, healthy, or even an improvement?
Because I believe the future of our food supply is far too important to be evaluated exclusively through the lenses of technological achievement, corporate profitability, or advertising.
What are your thoughts?
Would you willingly purchase and consume 3D-printed salmon, or would you prefer conventional salmon? And what kind of evidence would influence your decision?
Much Love.
Infinite Agape unto you all.

BREAKING: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy TEARS into Trump's "obvious weakness" after the American President announced, in a stunning betrayal, that he will allow millions of tons of Russian diesel fuel to enter the global market.
Putin's Puppet has hit a new low...
"Peace never comes through weakness. Today, representatives of the U.S. Congress were in Kyiv – a bipartisan delegation – and I am grateful to them for visiting Ukraine at such a difficult time. They asked: what is needed to end the war? The answer must be strong," Zelenskyy wrote on X. "There must be sanctions under the Lindsey Graham bill, there must be support for Ukraine in protecting lives, and there must be pressure on Russia for its war. And today, there was a conversation between the leaders of America and Russia. A conversation that leads to something different."
"Recently, there was a European decision to lift sanctions on Russian oligarchs. Since then, Russian strikes and the torment of people have only increased," he continued. "This past week alone, there was a brutal Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk – on ordinary city buses – and there have been constant attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure and on the life-sustaining infrastructure in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and our other cities. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds wounded."
As ever when considering this war, it's worth remembering that Putin started this conflict for deeply unjust, vainglorious reasons. His dreams of reconstituting the U.S.S.R. or even Imperial Russia have resulted in over 2 million people being killed, injured, or reported missing.
"The Russians are compensating for their inability to achieve their objectives on the battlefield with this kind of terror. This year, Russia is weaker on the battlefield than at any other point in the war," Zelenskyy continued. "That is why Putin is relying on terror. That is why he is relying on attempts to strike backroom deals to secure some form of pressure relief for Russia, in order to buy more time and more opportunities for war."
The Russian dictator is engaged in a campaign of remorseless terrorism against the Ukrainian people, which makes Trump's announcement today that he will be allowing 300,000 tons of diesel fuel into the American and global markets, followed by another 500,000 and then 1,000,000, utterly inexcusable. Every dollar that flows into the Kremlin is a dollar being spent to bomb, murder, and maim innocent Ukrainians.
"Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness," Zelenskyy went on. "It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world."
"Ukraine is ready to take symmetrical de-escalatory steps, and the American team knows our position. Our strikes on Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities are a response to Russia’s years-long campaign of terror against Ukraine’s energy sector. Ukraine will not set Russian oil refineries on fire if Russia does not destroy our energy infrastructure. This is the kind of agreement we are proposing to America, and we believe the United States has enough power to achieve such a compromise."
"Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Russia will 'repay' the diesel with further terror and perfidy. Allowing Russia to sell petroleum products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged. What is needed is real de-escalation with Russia on a reciprocal basis."
"We count on America’s fair support for our defense of life, for our defense of people in Ukraine – and on the United States having a correspondingly strong conversation with Russia. A strong one, not a weak one," the Ukrainian President concluded.
What do you think? Do you stand with Putin or Zelenskyy?
