Nobody is disputing that violent crime has dropped. That's GOOD news. But since you're so eager to take a victory lap, let's discuss a little something called chronology.
Violent crime was already declining before Donald Trump returned to the White House.
In 2024, under Biden, violent crime fell 4.5%, and murders dropped 14.9%.
Then came the historic decline in 2025.
Now, unless Donald Trump has somehow figured out how to govern retroactively, perhaps you'd like to explain how he deserves credit for a downward trend that began before he took office.
And while we're at it, where's the evidence that his policies CAUSED the decline?
Because posting a black-and-white glamour shot of your boss with a dramatic headline isn't a statistical analysis.
Americans deserve facts, not another taxpayer-funded political advertisement.
