Don't sleep on the trades My HVAC guy (who installed the original system at our house) came to do our winter prep/fall maintenance yesterday He and his co-worker spent 90 minutes at our home and hit me with a $355 bill (he also put some protective tubing around a few wires that a squirrel had chewed through a few months back) Both men seemed happy - were talking about their bowling leagues & families, etc. After they took my money, they probably did another two or three jobs for at least that much money; made their own hours, worked at their own speed... Wouldn't mind if my children learned a trade, started their own business, and invested early & often Big props to everyone in the trades 💪
