You cannot hate democrats enough. Protect your children. Harden your schools.
So let’s look at the facts because in my opinion the state is negligent and deserves to be held accountable. This is a rough, timeline pertinent road map and you can make your mind up from there. May 25, 2020: George Floyd encounters police and subsequently dies. May 26,2020: riots described by the media as “mostly peaceful protests” begin. May 29-31, 2020: Portland SPECIFICALLY endures major protests and civil unrest. This is where the fuse is lit. June 4, 2020: Portland Public Schools Superintendent Guadalupe Guerrero announces he’s discontinuing the regular presence of school resource officers. Mayor Ted Wheeler immediately follows, pulls SROs from PPS plus David Douglas and Parkrose, and redirects roughly $1 million from the program. This came in the middle of George Floyds protest with BLM demands to remove police from schools. 4J in Lane County followed suite by December. Springfield Public Schools kept their partnership in place. 2021 – Senate Bill 554 Kate Brown signs and allows schools and universities to adopt policies stripping the CHL affirmative defense so even licensed carriers could be barred from school grounds. December 2021: Bend-La Pine Schools adopted a campus ban in December 2021. 2022: Measure 114-aims for a permit to purchase and aims to assignmagazine limits. This is still currently unresolved and if Kotek is re-elected she will tackle this by March of 2027. 2022–2024: Early adoption of stripping the CHL affirmative defense was limited (roughly 13% of districts by mid-2022). By 2024, dozens of districts—including Portland, Beaverton, Reynolds, Tigard-Tualatin, and others—had enacted bans covering a substantial share of students. Many rural districts did not. 2025 – Senate Bill 243 (Community Safety Firearms Act): Signed by Gov. Tina Kotek. Further expands restrictions. State law actually never required SRO’s. In fact . It requires “safety plans and drills” Alyssa’s Law (signed by Kotek in 2025) only tells districts to “consider” panic alarms — it does not require them. Bend-La Pine reviewed security after a 2024 loaded-gun incident and still did not install them or put an officer at every building. Oct 15, 2026: A former student walks onto the Silver Rail Elementary campus in Bend, shoots through doors into a special-needs classroom, and kills three kids and a teacher before an armed parent stops him. No SRO was on site. Now the same media who treated laws, SRO removals and racial injustice like the gold standard are asking questions about why the state doesn’t mandate officers and defensible entry points. The same DEMOCRAT politicians who believe optional panic alarms, fewer police and more gun laws could have prevented this simply by banning guns in that area. Read into that: they want to ban guns in general. The state listens to groups like BLM, Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action (both of these are part of Everytown for Gun Safety Network), Ceasefire Oregon, Lift Every Voice Oregon and Oregon Alliance for Gun Safety. The above groups are all linked to the push, press release and lobbying and signing for SB 554, Measure 114 and SB 243. So when you see Wyden or Bynum next time demanding more gun control, ask them why they’re not demanding more concrete public safety measures like SRO’s and everything they refuse to actually push. They don’t actual care. Not one bit. It’s all political caving to lobbyist groups while blaming police for making students feel “unsafe” #oregon #bend @Jeff_Eager @PapaBearMyers

I am so tired of the performative coffin surfing being done by Democrats to engage for votes in the upcoming election.... families lost children, a teacher, others are dealing with those wounded as a result of the poor choices made by a teenager with mental health issues.

Please share- They need our help. teapawt.org/oregonducksmama/status…
Long post but please share and help if you can… Newberg Oregon residents are facing a serious attempt to takeover donated land and change the legacy of a wonderful woman... 👇🏻👇🏻 Bob & Crystal Rilee Park (325 acres) was donated to the city for a fraction of what it was worth. The city paid $280,000 for her land when it was worth $6 million dollars. The property was slated to be a working agricultural landscape and the home to historic equestrian trails. District acquisition included knowledge that the family and foundation were promised the property would be used for agricultural education and trails would be used for hiking and horseback riding as it had been their historic use. Crystal envisioned a place where future generations could experience its agricultural heritage, equestrian traditions, natural beauty, and peaceful open space. Now that is all changing due to mountain bikers trying to overtake the park. What doesn’t mix on trails?! Horses/dogs/walkers and mountain bikers… These trails include steep grades, blind corners, and limited sight distances, creating concerns about safety/conflicts between bicycles, horses, hikers, families, and pets. Residents have signed petitions in the thousands but the board still does not seem to care. And despite all the testimony from family, the hundreds of emails, and 6 months of testimony against it they still are pushing to allow mountain bikes at the park. The debate surrounding Bob & Crystal Rilee Park ultimately became about something much larger than one park or one recreation activity. It raised a simple but important question: If a family donates a remarkable piece of land to the public with the expectation that it will remain true to its historic purpose, should future governing boards be able to fundamentally change that purpose? Families who choose to leave a lasting gift to the community should know that their vision will not simply depend on who happens to be serving on the CPRD Board decades from now. Tina Kotax is at it again.
Governor Kotek and Democrat leaders broke the law to hide their government-run healthcare takeover until after you vote. The Universal Health Plan Governance Board was required to release its report on September 15. They didn’t. Kotek and the committee chairs approved the delay anyway. Legislative Counsel says they had no authority to do it. They buried it because voters would reject it. What is already known from the draft: • Seniors lose traditional Medicare and get forced into the state system • Your tax dollars pay for full coverage for people here illegally • A new income tax hits AGI, before deductions, so working families pay more A report that takes away Medicare and raises taxes does not get shelved by accident three weeks before an election. That is a cover-up. The board just called an emergency meeting for Thursday, October 8. Open the records. Release the plan. Let Oregonians see it before November 3.

Well fuck.. $900 for a new water heater and a few parts.. why doesn't that include the plumber? Did the job myself, had the tools and time. Plus I'm not paying the emergency fee or listening to a mad wife. She's smiling.

Hunting season is upon us in Oregon.. let's go!

Everyone needs to get in on this... @harveyspistols and @SummRidge have set the example.
It is actually starting to cool, thank The Lord, and the nights are starting to arrive just a bit earlier. Soon that superior season will be upon us. Autumn. This reminds me of story from a few autumns past when Rascal had to deal with some ne'er-do-wells raising Cain late one night at the shop. When I got there I found the creature dressed in his best 1800's sleepwear and holding a .45 revolver. "You take the light, i'll lead the way." was all the talk he would allow. He handed me the Humming Meadow Silo Taper Hurricane and deeper into the dark warehouse we went. Given that this was years before Humming Meadow was stocking these I have no clue how he came by it. No, I did not bother to ask. How that evening unfolded is a story, perhaps, for another time. For now I will thank @SummRidge for always supporting us and will say that this week's fun is a Taylor's and Co. Remington Conversion .45colt revolver paired with a lovely Humming Meadow Silo Taper Hurricane Candle holder (will be throwing in a candle too!) I hope all of you have an amazing and blessed week and are looking forward to fall as much as we are! Good luck to all and Keep Going even when it gets spooky!

Just know.. being an inspiration in your community doesn't require much sacrifice. It requires drive, integrity, honesty, and an unwillingness to quit. Mentor all the tough ones. Let them adopt you. It's awesome. @harveyspistols

We have given Tina Kotek enough time to remove or correct her lie. So here’s the facts. Here’s the short version received last night from the person who actually coordinated the roundtable: “December: I’m an Oregon small-business owner who made a viral post about businesses drowning here. I emailed BOTH Kotek and Drazan asking them to meet with business owners. Kotek’s office directed me to an online contact form, which I also submitted. I never received a response. Drazan personally called me. We talked for about 45 minutes, which led to the Feb. 10 roundtable. Feb. 10: I co-hosted the roundtable just 8 days after unexpectedly losing my mom. About 10 business owners from different industries attended. We discussed taxes, payroll costs, regulation, permitting, land use and the realities of trying to operate and grow in Oregon. It was NOT presented to us as a fundraiser or donor event, nor did we donate a dollar to anyone! We brought coffee and donuts! That’s all we contributed to the meeting. Drazan listened and later brought issues we’d discussed into her legislative work. Yes, she missed SB 1527 while meeting with us. She was officially excused, the Senate passed it 29–0, and her vote could not have changed the outcome. She was back at the Capitol that afternoon. March: Drazan brought five of us to the Capitol and arranged 7 meetings with legislators. We learned how to testify and advocate directly. August: She followed up with the roundtable attendees. After reading my response, she personally called me again for about 30 minutes, helped me think through my development/permitting issue and suggested meeting with a county commissioner. I took her advice and have that meeting Sept. 23. So when Kotek’s campaign posted today that Drazan “skipped the vote to meet with business donors,” it pissed me off. I organized that room. We were business owners asking our government to listen—not people who showed up to write checks. The irony is that I invited BOTH of them to listen. Drazan called me. Kotek’s office never even responded. That’s the story I want people to know.” So once again, Kotek and her staff have lied to Oregonians. This wasn’t about “donors”-this was about hearing concerns. Something that Kotek can’t do because she would have to own up to her failures, there are many, and actually face Oregonians. If you’re a small business owner and you vote for Kotek then you are voting to seal your fate. If you want someone willing to listen and be available? Then Drazan is your candidate. This timeline from what I can tell is very accurate. #oregon #elections @ChristineDrazan @TeamDrazan
While I supported making Oregon the first state in the nation to eliminate out-of-pocket costs for cervical cancer screenings, Christine Drazan skipped the vote to meet with business donors. Oregonians deserve a governor who will always show up for their healthcare. oregoncapitalchronicle.com/2…
