🚨 VA Secretary Collins announced the @DeptVetAffairs will require written informed consent when veterans under 30 are prescribed antidepressants and when the VA concurrently prescribes benzos and opiates, nationwide. These medications have suicide risk warnings from the FDA for veterans in this age group, yet this is the first time this issue is being addressed. There is a long way to go, but this reform was jointly pushed for by 30+ VSOs, to include the Irreverent Warriors & Grunt Style Foundation.
