"Gamer abolition" isn't even possible. You can abolish gaming *roles*, but gaming is an internal, inherent feeling, not something that's socially constructed. You can't just raise someone to think they're not a gamer, we know this!
just finished Lilies (1996), very good I really liked it. Play within a movie is such a fun and cool idea and all the actors being men gives it such a distinct visual identity.
The romance is played so well, I like that it's never minimised. Feels very tender and vulnerable
