We are further away from the WoD refresh than it was from Vanilla.
Our last major customization batch was nearly SIX YEARS AGO.

For the Alliance!! ( Minus the roaches, thank goodness for bug spray. )
Send this to the people you want in your first WoW: Forever group π©
ALT At the top of the image is the World of Warcraft: Forever logo, with βThe Alliance Needs Youβ in large, all-caps lettering at the bottom. A female Night elf points directly at the viewer, with a blue filter over Stormwind in the background and the Alliance emblem behind her.

Mouthwashing using βHeadlockβ by Imogen Heap in their new trailer is INSANE
that's like Metal Gear Solid dropping a trailer with βINVISIBLEβ by Duran Duran
These developers KNOW their fanbasesπ

Reminder that the current player models are older(12 years old) than the classic models were when they were updated in WoD (10 years)
We neeeeed a customization refresh. It doesn't even need to be as drastic as the WoD update, but this is a great example of what they could be.
The love of your life IS on World of Warcraft! @Raeliff_ π€ I love you to the moon and back.
π canβt wait to see them in retail as well! Wonderful news.
Blizzard calls WoWβs βspaghetti codeβ reputation an unfair characterization and says the engine is one of the best out there. Plus, Foreverβs visual upgrades are headed to Retail. π icy-veins.com/wow-forever/neβ¦ #warcraft #midnight

My serious take on this and the "guess i'll go play forever huh huh huh" crowd.
If you seriously think that WoW Forever won't also become macro-transaction hell in under a year, you're delusional and completely kidding yourself.
Many players are upset that the recent Grimtide housing bundle appears to break Blizzard's stated philosophy and guiding principles for real-money housing items.
