Today is Romani Resistance Day.
On this day, 16 May 1944, Roma and Sinti people in Auschwitz-Birkenau resisted Nazi soldiers, delaying executions in the ‘Gypsy Camp’ for several months.
We honour the bravery and resistance of all Roma and Sinti people.

The measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine now includes protection against chicken pox too. The vaccine is now called MMRV (varicella).
Dose 1 will be offered at one year of age and dose 2 will be offered at 18-months old.
