Fun fact: It is illegal to broadcast the actual emergency alert sound or anything that is similar, shows have to make up their own version.

Man I loved the fourth wall break in Chowder especially that Cartoon Network logo.

Dear God, that's a lot of imitation Scooby Doos and ALL from the same original studio, no less
I can just imagine the burnout the artists felt working on the same lousy concept for years on end

Usually I find it tiring when western cartoons make extended anime references, but this genuinely caught me off guard.

This one's also funny on a technical level since storyboard sheets of the CN studio tended to mark the logo placement area so artists could consider the layout of the characters and background. Chowder's storyboard artists just acknowledged that area's existence for the lols.

Unpopular opinion: Animated shows that last for 2-3 seasons are usually some of the best ones.

People calling Samurai Jack racist when the entire show is about him finding common ground with people from all walks of life.

I think this being called racist is sad. Instead of making African people and cultures whiter to appeal to a western audience they based the tribe's design from African art and the real Nguni fighting style. Samurai Jack says Africans are unique and cool.
