@HB_Pride students visited a pop-up salon for free haircuts & goodies.
The salon was organized by @CISofPeninsula. Just in time for graduation! Stylists from Brassfield's Salon and Spa and Symbols Spa’lon volunteered their time to provide haircuts.

Kid scores 100% on a retest... Only given a 70%. For what possible justification do we put scores in the gradebook that do not match what a student knows?
There is no average time to learn something. Punishing students for taking longer to learn something seems archaic

Wise words from a student today...
"I've noticed I look up to the teachers who put my human needs before my school needs. They care more about who I am as a person than who I am as a student."
HBHS students and staff sharing inspiration and motivation. Some times you need it, sometimes you can give it! #hbpride
