It’s so backwards that the burden of personal growth falls so disproportionately on people being mistreated. They’re expected to regulate their reactions, communicate better, & heal, while the people responsible for the mistreatment face little pressure to change their behavior
not enough people talk about the burnout that comes from constantly dealing with unhealed adults. always being the bigger person. always managing their triggers while suppressing your own. always explaining basic respect and accountability to people stuck in survival mode. that kind of exhaustion is soul tiring. protect your peace before you lose yourself carrying what other people refuse to heal within themselves.

“Well Generative AI is here now so we might as well-..”
WE HAD LIVES BEFORE GENERATIVE AI. COOL THINGS WERE MADE WITHOUT GENERATIVE AI FOR DECADES
people fetishize having a mentally ill partner until they realize you can't fulfill their "i can fix you" power fantasy, will you still hold me close after another relapse even though i promised i'm trying to get better?

“I hate having to defend a man…”
Its genuinely so pathetic that women feel the need to performatively apologise for showing basic decency and empathy towards men
Gender has truly rotted your brain

Some people need to process their feelings so they do not just say everything they are feeling in the moment because it is not always logical and appropriate

i feel like fandom would become fun again if people simply stopped treating writers and artists as if they owe them something and started treating them as fellow fans who simply choose to share their hobbies

This is why everyone is so fried now.
You’re avoiding confrontation out of cowardice and disguising it as self-preservation. There are consequences to this.

You really don't need to rush growing up.
I know it's tempting but after 18, you'll be an adult for the REST of your life n it wont go back.
enjoy your teens
enjoy being a kid
Be safe and respect social set boundaries

Don’t you just hate when a beloved voice actor passes away and people start treating the characters they voiced dying as well? Literally human life is more important than a role on a show
Disabilities do not excuse you from accountability.
You can feel sympathetic for someone's struggles in life, but their disabilities do not change that their actions are problematic or harmful.
If you have the ability to be a content creator, then you have the ability to accept criticism when you do wrong.
It is your responsibility as a creator to lead by example and to correct bad behaviors. If you can't do that, then you shouldn't be a content creator to begin with, as you are in a position of influence.
Sure, disabilities can play a part in behaviors. But it is not an excuse for bad behaviors. And it should not be used as a "get-out-of-jail-free" card to avoid being responsible for your decisions.
Own your behaviors. Apologize. Grow and improve. Don't lie or distort the truth to avoid tough conversations.
And most importantly, don't coddle or enable this behavior from disabled people in your life. Set boundaries and adhere to correcting them. It does nothing but set them up for failure as an adult when they have to face reality. Infantilization is VERY harmful.
