Wainwright surveyed 27 U.S. allergists and dermatologists familiar with the Phase 3 data for @Celldex Therapeutics' barzolvolimab, an investigational treatment for chronic spontaneous urticaria, a condition that causes recurring hives with no known trigger. Most physicians viewed the drug's efficacy favorably compared with current advanced therapies and indicated they would still prescribe it after weighing the safety findings, likely starting with patients who have tried other treatments first.
