Reserves Day is a fitting moment for us to acknowledge a first. Sub-Lieutenant David Keasey from HMS Sherwood is the first RNR officer to join the Engineering Branch, David, will bring over decade of experience from @RollsRoyce to the @RoyalNavy.

On #ReservesDay we celebrate our @RNReserve Royal Naval Reservists — balancing civilian life with military service, at home and overseas.

VICTORY! 🏆
A team of Royal Navy submariners beat a team from BAE Systems to win the coveted Resolution Cup during the annual Keswick to Barrow walk.
Our team supported the Keswick to Barrow walk on Saturday - engaging with the public, handing out prizes, and showing our support for all the walkers. BZ to the RN Submarine Service team who claimed victory overall on the gruelling 40mi route.
Several of our Ship's Company live in #bradford, so it was a privilege to attend the 40th anniversary memorial for the the Bradford City stadium fire disaster on Sunday. We laid a floral tribute on behalf of HM Armed Forces, alongside cadets from TS Aurora Bradford Sea Cadets.
